Ifonly1, allegedly, lost money in ukog, having invested ' by accident' for around 12 hours. One has to feel sorry for him as he keeps moaning about his losses in Glen and Gvc. Filter is the best solution unless your desperate for a laugh. GLA with hoping we all enjoy Christmas and a particularly satisfactory 2019.

I am fully aware of the risks of AIM, as you appear to be, however it does confuse me when people invest in AIM companies, possibly hoping to make the quick buck, and then moan when matters do not proceed according to plan. Any decisions made have to be their own based on their research and judgement, but with some, and UKOG is a good example, when proceeding turn for the worse, albeit IMO in the short term, everybody is at fault except themselves. Thank you the exchange of views, now lets get on the festivities and lets hope that this time next year our views are in accord and celebratory. GLA with no hangovers, give the good ladies a hand in the kitchen and any family alone, a call, a letter or christmas card, or telephone call to show they are not forgotten.

Scandic. Very pleased to hear you are an investor. I now have a better understanding of your questioning. I agree that the SP, fluctuations and downward spiral have been frustrating, but, IMO, either the longer view has to be taken which infers confidence in the final outcome, or if confidence is lacking sell up and move on. IF one is merely nervous, then monitor closely and depart or remain as one sees fit.
Let's put any concerns to one side, for the time being, and spend the festive period in celebration of Christmas and our good fortune (IMHO) in being invested in a, potentially, excellent company. I am also invested in GGP (worth a look) and am expecting good things from them.
I have admit that, strictly speaking, I am not an investor in either, as I am acting on behalf of my daughter. On one hand I have nothing to lose, on the other, it is an additional responsibility.
All the best and let's have faith. There is nowt we can do, we are in the hands of others, so faith is a must IMO.

Morning Scandic; why on earth would I wish to put an opposing view to myself ? I will quite happily listen to and ponder over an alternative sensibly thought out view point. However, I would question the motives of anyone posting on this BB who is an alleged shareholder with negative thoughts towards their own investment, or not a shareholder and chooses to deride the investment of others. I invested in ukog in May '17 as I had confidence in SS and his fellow directors and have not seen reason to change my view. I admit to a few squeaky bum times, but never doubted that there will, eventually, be a successful outcome. Now, I must assume, by your negativity, that you are not an investor. I will happily listen to any constructive criticism of ukog and SS you wish to present, IF you will first explain why, if you are indeed not an investor, you feel a need to post negative comments or seek answers to mischevious questions on this board. I am aware he is invested here as he is perpetually whining about any drop and how much he is losing here and in GVC. I dislike posters who comment by deramping for their own ends or mocking investors who are losing capital. Excepting a lack of basic intelligence or concern for their fellows, I am unable to comprehend their intentions or thoughts. I am merely attempting to return the 'favour' of his sad posts and hope he might see the light.

Those that have recently crawled out, just ask yourselves why SS is the CEO and your not. As far as I'm concerned he is building a company for the long term.
