Hi Statto disagree on one, there were two, License and would of, on 2 I stand corrected. My hates is plural thus the ;to be; must be plural; I think; I googled it but still not absolutely certain.
Are, or were, you an English Language teacher ? You are reviving my schooldays and reminding me of the corrections in red all over my essays. Of and FOR allowing was one of his favourites, also the greatest sin, finishing a sentence with a prep, now long forgotten. Much preferred the sciences and sport. GLA and bora da.

Seeing as we're talking grammatical hates, mine are the noun licenCe being spelled the american way license
and 'would of' instead of would've or would have. Some would say 'who cares, if we understand the other' which. unfortunately, demonstrates the general acceptance of the lowering of standards. As someone who used to always wear a suit, tie, and polished shoes I am as guilty as the next man of allowing my attire and language to diminish. The easy way out I suppose. Let's get back there. Frr should be main subject on this BB,; I would imagine most, like me, are sick and tired of Brexit although most, like me, seem to want their 2 penneth in. Never argue about religion or politics. ESPECIALLY BREXIT. It has caused more long lasting upsets between family and friends than anything I have ever known; including foorball and women (and men so I'm not deemed sexist).

Personally, I think that the EU needs us more than we need them. They have treated us very badly during the negotiations. LEAVE is LEAVE. Would they have been so stringent and demanding if Greece, Italy or Spain had wanted to leave ? I think not. Let get back to moaning at our own not some un-elected Brussels Bureaucrat. I know a good few Remainers who are becoming more and more disenchanted with the EU and it's hostility towards us.

AND worst of all, last year I turned on Test Match Special to hear a woman commentating. John Arlott would be turning in his grave and I'm still suffering from shock. Rubgy, football,snooker etc, all the interviewers, who to my mind are a waste of time in any event, are female, and attractive, WHY? If someone (usually male!!) makes an innocent / natural pass, as the West Indian Gale did, all and sundry are up in arms. Male sport for male participants in all areas; female sport the same. I have seldom watched female sport, excepting beach volleyball {hiss, hiss, sexist, I hear} as I am a naturally functioning male but too old to be 'dangerous'), but if they wish to make sport TRULY open, I would have no objection, as long as the best are the best without token participants from the other genders (there appears to be more than 2 nowadays). Male rant over. ( Bring back the wolf whistle and watch to see which girls turn round hopefully. Great pastime and don't dare say it was disrespectful). In my day women, those mysterious creatures were.ladies and treated with absolute respect, mainly on the instruction of our mothers. Wonderful days, I miss them so much GLA

Tkr; I appreciate your position and understand, and agree, with your thoughts. But I suggest (to show my youthfulness) you take a 'chill pill'. The SP is very frustrating, however, it only becomes of particuar and immediate relevance when it is your intention or neeed to sell. YL & Mattyboy; I imagine there are a fair few PI's with a very similar thought. Why bail out now when, as we believe and hope, the worst is over? I started buying at .38p, got caught by the Newmont spike but still over 100% up.
However I question as to whether the 'Newmont Affair' was a complete 'debacle'. They were there for an initial 6 months, then took further time to deliberate. I understand and appreciate the fact that the outcome was a business decision that they felt there were better and / or more profitable opportuntities elsewhere. However, they did require extra time before coming to their decision which would appear to imply something of value to decide upon, just not the 'find of the decade' for wich GH had mistakenly (and I believe honestly) hoped . Just when one has run out of mouth wash, the haltosis (ifonly1) re-appears. Try to forgive him, his losses in Glen and GVC have reduced so he is in good humour. What happenned to his HUR and PFC investments is unknown.
Further, it is bad form to mock the afflicted, so it is preferable to attempt a little understanding and forgiveness of the poor soul. GLA and wish upon others that which you would wish upon yourself, good health, fair fortune, and happiness.

SS' is paid to a job to the best of his ability. Providiing he does, which hopefully means success in bringing home the bacon, he can do exactly as he wishes with his own money, as far as I am concerned. Although, when the time is appropriate and lawful, an investment showing confidence in his own knowledge and ability would not be un-appreciated nor go un-noticed. IMO
