Ninetails: Interesting point, I've been there before. I was at my computer when the sp reached 10.50 approx last year.
I turned down the opportunity, wrongly, stupidly, and greedily. If, as you propose, it reached those dizzy heights again, I anticipate I am likely to consider retrieving some of the investment made, but I am not anticipating having that opportunity in the near future. Our investment was, and remains, with the the long term in mind. No-one invests with the intention of losing money; but investing in AIM is more poker than roulette.. At what point would I sell up completely ? I don't know. It will completely depend on the information that becomes available.as to whether I go for capital gain or anticipate dividends sufficient to satisfy my 'greed'. Crystals balls are very useful I imagine, I could do with one. I have invested here as I believe that I/we, the country, and fellow pis will benefit. GLA.
