Nothing to do with the Brexiteers. They were asked to vote, leave or stay, and voted to leave, thereby regaini ng control of their country, their Judiciary and their borders. They did not vote to part leave by accepting any direct or indirect governance by the EU. The way GB has been treated by the EU more than amply demonstrates why we should leave. The problem is that the self-centred remainers will not accept that they LOST the vote, the 'non people's vote' as they infer; LOST, finished, done, dusted. They want their hands held by the eurocrats, scared to tread the world stage without a prop; like a crying child scared of leaving mummy and daddy. For once the people have had their say, which the self interested 'we know better public school types' of the plutocracy, with their inherited wealth, tax avoiding overseas bank accounts and other 'legal' scams, refuse to accept. All of course IMO.

Ninetails; I think you your earlier pun on (Esso) pipe-dreams was not fully appreciated by all. I found it quite unbelievable,and amusing, that you were defended so robustly by UKOG's No ! detractor Ifonly1.
To PITW You were spot on. Ifonly1 was number 5. Invested, allegedly, for around 12 hours by accident. Maybe he is having a change of heart. Anyway, I wish him all the best, he's having a hard time with GVC, although if he left it alone for a month or two I feel fairly certain GVC will recover for him.; God and trump willing. Hi. Cheryl, agree with a lot of what to say; maybe it's just the way you put it in previous posts. If I have got you wrong, I apologize. I've backed 3 horses of which Ukog and GGP are 2. I started buying them at 1.01, and .36 resp. from mid '17. Been caught on a few spikes as a newbie, but learned. To me the main, if not the only, losers are those that do not learn. There is the old adage if there is a man with money and a man with experience, sooner or later the man with experience will have the money, and the man who had the money has the experience.
Now average 3.4 and .87. resp. One has, nearly always, kept the other afloat and us in the blue, or light red. (I say us as it is mainly my daughter's spare cash with a little of mine when I got excited).
To my mind, none of us, the PI's, actually know anything, it is research as much as we can, then guesswork. I fully accept that you have a right to free speech, but I have never understood those that come on to a BB's and preach, or intimate, doom and disaster, and infer 'Ha, Ha, your losing money'. Equally I am not too enamoured with the BOOOOM brigade, but prefer positivity to negativity.
You may turn out to be right and see it dip to 1p or even less, but as we are in for the 'long haul' (for want of a better phrase) and without sufficient experience to trade, or want to, short term loss or gain is incidental. IF it dips to 1p will you be jumping in? Good luck.

I am a country boy in East Yorkshire and sometimes a little at odds with some of the ways of the world. Last year my wife and I went down to London to visit our son home from Dubai. Not being too familiar with London I went out for a tour (bus pass) to see the sights and took time off for some light refreshment in a bar. A nice young lady asked me if I would buy her a drink. Trying to be the gentleman, and being rather flattered at being being asked by a young lady, I duly obliged We then commenced to converse and it came about that she was a chicken farmer.
' In London? I asked in amazement.
'Well not exactly', she replied,' but I did raise around a thousand little peckers last year'. Seemed very strange so I gave my apologies and left'

Cheryl nobody on this board objects to CONSTRUCTIVE opposing views from fellow investors. They do however query the motives behind non-investors with hostile comments in relation to UKOG or any board. It is a question that never gets answered. Please educate us as to why?

JK. lighten up. I have never have, and never will, attempt to post anything that I think could influence anybody' I am far too inexperienced in this game to even attempt. Brocal53 Tell me about it. I the 90's from somewhere or somebody I got a tip for Premier oil.. I bought at 18p, about £500 worth. Got bored and eventually sold a few months later for 15p. Next time I looked several years later, they were over 1300p I think. I know they are down to the 70p's now, but I often wonder IF.... The transferring of money from the impatient to the patient .......!!!!!

JK. I agree with you. As I said unlikely, but possible. Many years ago, in a Southampton Casino I put my last fiver down on the blackjack (down £200) table and walked away 40 minutes later with £700. Passing the Roulette table I saw that the middle dozen had not come for about 20 spins and backed 1.14. 20. 20 doubled and 14 and 31 (I expanded my play) came within a few spins. Walked away with over £31/2k, bought my wife a diamond ring, and never (although tempted at times) been back in a casino. Doesn't often, but it does, happen.
But, as I have said before, 'if you don't have a dream, you can't have a dream come true' More often than not it is the arrival that is the most exciting part of a journey but the journey itself.

Someone on the GGP BB, a few months ago, posted that the son of a friend in the 70's invested a few pounds in a gold mine called Poseidon in Australia. He paid for his house from that modest investment.

Cheryl just because a share is losing value does not make it bad investment.or mean that the real value is dropping. To me the facts are simple.
(1).the oil is there;
(2). it has flowed to surface.
(3). The country needs that oil and all the Weald oilers will do their best to extract as much as possible.
The only question that needs to be answered is NOT IF but WHEN they will extract it in commercial quantities and how much those quantities will be.
You may dispute preferably with facts.

A very modest 300k. Watched it all the way down from about .63p as my son was in it (sold out in the .45;s approx). At .27p I could not resist a little flutter and sold a few GGP to buy in. As GGP are flying now, I am hoping I did not err. But you pays yer money and takes yer chance. GLA

Ifonly1, cheryl, querty, yes I do have rose coloured spectacles as far as UKOG and all my investments are concerned, and will continue to do so until I have cause to change my opinion. If I didn't hold those views, I wouldn't be invested in any of them. I made my decisions based on some research, some fact, some gut feeling, and I bit of trust, which will not alter until I see fit to do so.
Take ifonly1's decision to invest in UKOG, allegedly, but saw reason to change his mind within 12 hours. With PMO it took a little longer, he lasted 24 hours, ANGS, about 48 hours, losing money in 2 and a very modest alleged profit in the 3rd.
To each of you I ask, what is the purpose and / or intention of posting on the BB of a share in which you are not
invested ? Are you invested in any shares and, if so, are they, and were they always, profitable ?
Rose coloured glasses ? In Nov. Ifonly1 posted that he thought Glen would be £4.50 and GVC £12 within a week; what happened, where are they now, and who had the rose coloureds then ?
Ifonly1 if GVC go up £2 you will just about get your money back, if the same happens to UKOG my daughter is a multi-millionaire. It may be unlikely, but it is possible, and I'm going to have fun watching and waiting. And she has GGP to fall back on;(doing well at the moment) I hope.
