Agree pi ranks below ii (we saw it at the last raise). But the 'cornerstone' here has strategic interest and ia underwriting the whole thing. That means they gwt first dibs. They want in. That means, within reason, horizonte can name their price. I think the market and other ii will be disappointed here. We dont think endevour approached.every mining major to secure an investor? For two tier 1 mines with lowest c1 cost? Proditable at $12k/t? I think you are badly underestimating horizonte's hand personally. But on the off chance we see 3p I will say chapeau you were right and eat humble pie. But my view is we will see 30p before we see 3p. Oh and welcomw back jd!

My alternative view is that when I discussed the funding situation with a director he told me different things to what you are saying. So we can agree to disagree - I am going with my view that the fd knows his onions. All imho, dyor and only invest what you can lose and all that carp. Think we will be pleasantly surprised. 3p ondeed - and teck glencore and cannacord (latter participated at 7.5p) all take it on the chin? Amusing....

I lost you when you said they would raise at below the last BOD option price of 4.8p. Not happening. I have it on pretty good authority. The reason it is 'delayed' is there are many 'tier 1' participants at the table wanting a slice. The bod are quite rightly taking their time picking the creme of the creme. All imho.

BHP is the worlds largest miner by mcap ($186bn as at June 2021) and also added $20bn mcap in 2021. Didn't they also sign agreement with Tesla 5 days ago? Now why would the largest miner in the world be interested in nickel assets?

I re-iterate my point from the post the other day 'the who' of the cornerstone is is so much more interesting than the 'how much they will pay' for our equity raise, always supposing they aren't actually making an offer right now for the whole company. What if it is BHP, or a similar major, what price for the shares after that announcement? All IMHO.

Also nobody is getting excited. We have seasoned investors here like Bwana who came to the share late (i.e. when it was already 6p last year) buying because this will be worth shedloads in 2-4 years time. Whether it is 6p or 8p still isn't that exciting (though I expect the placees at the 7.5p were bit miffed we dropped this low). I've already bought this year at 5.93p and 9.3p. The trick of course was to also buy if you had heard of the company when it was 1.7p and 2.2p. Main thing to do with this stock right now is to not sell any at all if possible, as 4m tonnes of nickel at current $19.4k/t price is worth $77.6bn which is going to get developed - by somebody. GLA

I see it as borrowing to buy an appreciating asset (with obviously some risk attached). Many borrow to buy a depreciating asset (a car) I have never borrowed to buy a depreciating asset. No right or wrong we all have to make our own calls. Probably the smartest move I made after the last raise (where I admit, I got a bit peeved) was to hive off 50% of my original Horizonte investment cash (which was at that point 20% of my shares value) into other stocks. If Horizonte fails (completely) I lose half my original capital. If all 5 stocks fail which I have invested in, I lose all my capital. You takes your chances in life etc. etc.... Main thing for me is to still have employment opportunity, health, roof over your head (sort of) then you can take a few chances. Everyone's circumstances are different I would never advise anyone else what to do. I do believe in Horizonte, I do believe we are close now. Slightly baffled/bemused by the SP I thought we would be 8-9p range pre finance landing. GLA

First direct most obliging - 'home improvements' was my stated reason.for borrowing 45k of them last couple of weeks. When its.10 bagged I will indeed buy some fine 'home improvements', perhaps made of brass, marble, gold etc. Ironically they didnt check if I had a home before lending (I dont, kind of). Gla

Kind of a 'don't bother doing another DFS we already did one 10 years ago' scenario. Interesting. I'd be happy with 34p too! Not good business for them though - selling for $9m buying back for ~$850m (if my rough calcs are correct), they've reverse 100 un-bagged....

What are people's views on where they would like to see Horizonte by the end of the year? Being considered a pessimist/realist on this board I would currently be happy with:
- finance is done (we waited a good while for it)
- shareprice is double digits and double digits looks a solid floor - i.e. we aren't going to slip back under 10p
- there is clarity over what the plans for Vermelho are, and it is possible as an investor to infer a rough timelines for value add to the SP in the next 1-2 years while Araguaia is built where Vermelho progress will add mcap
As a bonus:
- the cornerstone is a major industry player and we can infer interested in whole co at suitable juncture or as an eventual partner for Vermelho
- the SP is 15p and above
Those are my hopes based on everything I know. If nickel holds current levels and Horizonte gets finance deal away and the equity finance is not too much mates rates, realistic outcome?

Could MM's have been responding to demand from Canada? AFAIK the shares are fungible? FWIW I am rather hoping for news this week or next, from the company, something quite meaty/juicy would be good - bank credit approved. Then still believe completion of finance package in September is likely/desirable.

Agree with craig I think we will see the announcements in order now no choice probably due to the shareprice drop (for whatever reason we dont understand). I expect bank credit approval, perhaps as early as next week with rest wrapped up maybe early sept? Offtakes inbetween could be announced any time. So a bit of time yet and hopefully the shareprice recovers a bit between the milestones as investors (current and potential) establish confidence that the financing will happen and on good terms for Horizonte.

This minute I am in Scotland but you'd say maljorca by the temp. Its as topsy turvy as horizonte sp. Sorry to board for o/t. Hopefully corrects next week or we have an all on track rns from horizonte at least.

just crunching a few numbers - the $1bn NPV of Stage 1 alone, at current nickel prices, doesn't take into account Real depreciation. But it is still £730m GBP. Fully diluted worst case 3bn shares the current share price would be 25% of NPV. But this factors nothing for:
- A2
- Vermelho
- the white elephant in the room 'who is the cornerstone and how are they going to help us get A2 and Vermelho up and running'

So I re-iterate the current shareprice is bonkers. Add to that $19k/t nickel is in a 'not yet in deficit' market, add to that the ESG requirements for future mining production making green metals sources more scarce, and I do belive we should already be 10p and that is a minimum pre finance! All IMO

I expect the sp to rise post raise irrespective of the raise price and I think peeps thinking they will get in on some cheap buying action post finance deal (perhaps as part of the placing) are in lalaland. If (and it's an if) there are cheap shares to be had the cornerstone will get them IMO and almost certainly above the current price.

So my money is still - market got it wrong. And that's why I'm buying with any and all money I can find....

Agreed I don't understand the price either. My solution to the problem is to buy some. Currently my cash is stuck but as soon as it unsticks I will buy. I think screaming buy at 6p personally. Sadly (or not) I think my big money will miss the finance package complete but just being greedy really I have plenty...
