As I've always said, Ocado is a sentiment stock and will be till it gets bought. i.e. it goes up, it goes down, for no particular reason. But when there is good reason, it REALLY goes up.

I'll probably sell if Steiner doesn't sort his life out and resolve the M&S issue for better or worse. Such an easy thing to resolve if he really wanted to. At this point I feel the share price would probably rise even if he accepted M&S's decision.

From a consumer point of view, it would be rubbish if Microsoft bought RPI as they'd probably insist on putting Windows 12 on it, but my bank account would be happy of course.

What I found interesting about RPI is how little media coverage it got around its IPO. I mean, this company has truly massive potential in the embedded CPU/SBC space yet I had to hunt on the BBC and Guardian for some time to find an article on the IPO - it wasn't even listed in the tech sections of the websites, so I believe this share is under many people's radars. This to me means even greater potential. Time will tell.

The bugger is that the price is drifting lower before the results day.

By all means crash and burn on results day (or rocket upwards), but to do so beforehand without solid news is irritating!

(No I don't think the Canadian pause is big news, although it is of concern for sure)

What news do you want? I expect they'll post quarterly earnings eventually.

On the product news side by year end, I am expecting either a RPi 500 or a successor to the RP2040 (personally can't wait for this). I think these are the most likely products. More speculative would be some RPi/GPU joint product without the need for a separate "hat".

Eventually I expect they'll get bought by Microsoft (un)fortunately so I imagine that will be big news.

Wages have been suppressed for years due to the usual supply and demand equation. If wages were fair and had risen in line with inflation over the last 20 years, we would absolutely be needing Ocado's robots.

Robots are more flexible than humans; they can work whenever you want and are scaled up by simply installing new ones (or scaled down). You can fire and hire them at will and ad infinitum.

That is a good point Gioviano55020. For me, the time to sell will be results day, if at all.

This country is in desperate need of PR. FPTP does nothing for anyone except the 2 main parties. So many votes don't count when you have large constituencies of people who always vote the same way causing others to have wasted votes.

Libdems have PR as one of their policies.

I cannot see why anyone would vote for Farage who supported him in 2019. This is the same bloke who told everyone who was going to vote for him in 2019 to vote Tory instead.... the same party that then signed off on net immigration of 1.2 million last year! Or maybe I misunderstand his voters and they actually want record immigration? Who knows!

I see that Lingotto still appear to be invested in Ocado given I haven't seen an RNS suggesting a decrease so they still see hope and this is from some of the same people who invested early in Tesla.

Until RPI announces the successor to the RP2040 and wipes the board of the ESP32....

Or releases an RPI with ARM GPU coprocessor capable of AI/OpenCL **with full-featured and well-documented SDK** that wipes out the Jetson embedded GPU market that Nvidia has priced so greedily. Nvidia has become such a fat pig and needs some exercise IMO.

The first post on the thread was useless.

But now you've made a valid point that ARM hold shares in RPI and more importantly, have been a large investor in RPI for years and appear to be continuing to do so. ARM are an excellent partner to have on board and can only lead to more exciting things for RPI.
