For those who have held stock for some time has this heavy buying pattern been noted regularly in December/January?

Second rig has arrived and has been set up.
Almost immediately some bright spark starts the cry of "compensation" for his people.

I haven't done any balancing of the last handful of trades but the MMs might be a bit tight for stock at tomorrow's opening. They must have really been trying every which way to fill the last two orders despite being aided by the sell. Could be a decent day ahead.

I was there shortly after. Terrifying. Shear zones and fault zones are indeterminate.

I used to do business in the Transvaal.

I have CEY stock and that is another unknown quantity along the west wall. I believe that is caused by TSF 1 failure, unconfirmed. Each one has its own built-in structural weaknesses.

Unfortunately we know nothing about Cascabel shear zones but they have been very much on my mind for a year. Obviously instability has immense implications for block caving but everyone avoids discussing it. Open pit excavations would be unaffected.

Just browsing because I was looking for copper, gold and iron deposits and I know they are extensive. The Tanzania craton covers a bigger area than first thought. Plenty of opportunities in the days ahead. See -

May I add a point or two? As few words as possible.
Each of us has become very one-tracked with SOLG.
We miss opportunities and investigation elsewhere.
In the last couple of days CCZ has emerged.
At present I am looking at Tanzania.
Artisanal workers are scratching out surface workings, water runoff contaminating coffee plantations.
Explorers are coming. Same elsewhere.
I look at Mt Kilimanjaro and Usangi site.

Right or wrong I have acted on the premise there are physical geo complications at Alpala. There is therefore a component there creating a snag in the progress to completion of the PFS (and subsequent DFS publication). Others may believe it is a natural overrun and, whatever the cause, is not insurmountable.

Also, on reflection, dissatisfaction from BHP and NCM - let alone CNR's dissent - magnifies an already awkward problem. Others view it differently. One point is clear: it is not a happy camp. Yet no one in it has pulled the rug since October 15. Why, I ask?

A correction to an earlier post on dividends:
". . . will evaluate this decision on a semi-annual basis going forward and expects to reinstate its dividend policy when appropriate". So no divis should be expected in the short term.

Just reviewing all available data as my knowledge on PTAL's horizontals is nil. All previous study has been confined to the Bakken and Mississippian. When the bottom started falling out of WTI/Brent I sold all oil stocks. The company is therefore my first return to the sector but shall only focus on those that have decent balance sheets. PTAL had setbacks for most of 2020 and should be able to attain its 20,000bopd fairly quickly.

A good pipeline of news should follow in the next two months.

Mildly disconcerting of late but then I have not been here long. SP reached ~37p and has subsequently slid downhill. Mr Y's comments together with my own enquiries, which were very encouraging, are not turning things around. I now better appreciate some of the annoyance felt and suffered by those who have been here for a long time.

Company image needs jacking up although that is not quickly accomplished.

Similar steps could be taken again although doubtful. It is, however, one reason for not taking up the cry of >$2,000/oz in the short term. Seems more practical to visualise a $1,700 - $1,800 range.

@ 09:01 - Not surprised in the least. I felt things would dry up following the AGM. The frenzy leading up to it was typical of a desire to preserve skins and the status quo.

To set the cat amongst the pigeons there are posters who will not have forgotten the circus across the border. The smokescreen created by the (infamous) GC and JW. I don't want to see a similar story and outcome played here.

Them African bee strains are aggressive whereas I can work the hives for someone in Kent with relatively little gear.

Would be pleasing to hear how W Kenya proceeds . . ..
