I spent a couple of hours this afternoon tracking the tech. Plenty of info available but all of it semi-useless.
According to literature Kromek have a head start on the science.
I suppose some more reading tomorrow on e.g. gamma ray equipment may do a better job on my (re)education.

All very basic at present.

My skills on the tech are pretty well zero here. Understanding is confined to blue litmus paper turning red and vice versa. Hand-held devices are abundant on the streets of Wuhan. They look like fancy revolvers encased in plastic, apparently giving instantaneous readings/measurements. So the science is already established.

To remove my uncertainty on most of KMK's range I immediately took up some stock and proceeded to lose 5% of its value. My examination has perhaps not been thorough enough, but continuing to sit on the fence was hardly an option. I don't know what timeframes we are looking at . . . possibly progress to large scale production/marketing on all counts could be quicker than visualised.

Sectors could rapidly adopt the procedures.

None too clever this morning. Could have waited a bit before buying. A few others should have sat on their hands as well. No sweat as I plan to be here all year. A fair amount of news to come within days.
Probes already carried out look more than fair to my eye.

Quite compelling having examined it in detail. Took a nibble first thing.

Yuri must have a stack of information from Acacia/Barrick days combined with what he knows about Geita, Bulyanhulu and N Mara. Additionally there are very few who know as much as he does about the Tanzanian Craton in its entirety.

Tier 1 in the next 2 - 3 years . . ..

I can understand the mindset of others. Stepping away can be determined by lack of patience and attraction to stocks that seem to be breaking out. I stepped into EQT, KMK, PHE and PTAL this month having wearied of 10 years in SOLG. Halved my stake there, although NM is at last abandoning his role (this morning). I shall, however, return to SOLG as soon as 20% gains are accomplished on the other four.

SHG holding remains intact as developments in Kenya and Tanzania will be quite spectacular in the next couple of years.

For some reason I can not open the link. Presumably the extra equipment, and especially the drones, are for tracking down all illegal diggings.

Whereas three weeks ago there were grounds for optimism I am now hunkering down for quite a long haul with Centamin. For me it is safer to reckon on Au trading in the $1,700 - $1,800/oz range rather than being swept along by fanciful predictions for the year.

Poor volumes, both here and TSX.

Thanks for those links. I am now more or less up to speed. There's certainly been a lot of reading material to get through. Have mostly completed my choices for the year. EQT is likely to remain untouched because I don't relish paying 1% Irish stamp duty each time for an AIM stock.

That was dumb. I thought something was wrong on my £3k deal this week.
Stamp duty came to £30 on the transaction.
The Irish rate is double ours @ 1% and applies to AIM stocks.
Another lesson learnt.
So check up on your deals.
There's always something to trip us.

Just a general observation. The subject might already have been covered.

First notable point is the huge confetti-like number of shares issued. A check reveals a relatively small percentage is held by institutions, etc. Yet it is possible for the figure not to represent a precise picture. There is no real legal requirement for foreign interests to disclose their hand on the LSE.

My buy-in here is relatively small (£3k). It should prosper but none of us really know. Greek olive waste processing could be one of the near-term developments.

One possibility is there are French, German, Greek and Spanish investment interests at work distorting any data that could otherwise emerge. I can also provide two examples of Swiss houses that do not want their holdings disclosed on other shares. UK developments always seem to entail foot-dragging over minutiae. We shall see soon enough.
