A couple of weeks back I was having a look at Tanz Gold Corp (TRX) mystified @ Can$0.74 share price. Other than the quality of the presentation above it is difficult to see their rating. Unless, of course, it is one of the government's pet projects.

Pleased to have halved my stake @ 34p. The SP is a joke. A boardroom vacuum has been created with no leadership succession in sight. BHP and NCM could be licking their chops in readiness. Thought I'd have another listen although my specific search tonight was for the Isulu Shoot.
There are evidently more than just a few rigs drilling on three sites incl one at Singida.
It's impressive.

My check now shows the Lihranda footprint to be bigger than I thought. The net widens to include places like Bukura, Ibwale, Kiminin and down towards Lake Vic (Kisumu).

To retain solid investor UK interest SP should make sure of being forceful in word and deed. There is a tendency to drift best illustrated by delay to produce the next set of results. He has possibly been let down by the lab not getting a finger out. In the southern hemisphere there is always the habit to take season's jollies into the fourth week of January.

Other than referring to daily/weekly weather data, which is normally accurate, we have to sit back. Of course, to be contrarian, it has remained dry with low humidity. Surely the Perth office knows it. Also, it could be the rains arrive late (not unknown). So get moving whilst the opportunity to drill is there.

I note the Capricorn mine, idle for ~2 years is/has re-equipped. It's always worth checking comparable open pit situations and Big One (plus Arya) could have similar features. The original excavation/quarrying would have been 400 - 500 metres at its widest. See satellite view @ -

Wondering how much of it - having paid off HMRC dues today - is a result of investors paying off ant tax burdens due on 31 January.

. . . is again taking a hammering. KMK is badly hit and I stopped all ideas of further buying when it clearly was going sub-20p. Quite unusual for the stock to rapidly shed 30% from its high for no apparent reason.

As Paull has made reference it seemed sensible to see what the "wet season" incurs. Very sparse rainfall at Mt Oxide this month but dirt roads are quickly impassable with moderate downpours, and transporting a rig to site can be impossible. See -

The gulf has greater precipitation than Gunpowder which is a good 400 km south. Gunpowder has had virtually nothing in January. Normanton starts drying up end-March.

I was a bit quick on the trigger @ 3.90p but had thought further grades would be reported. It could be we were slightly misled. Shall do further investigation to check on Capricorn mine figures plus one other in the vicinity.

Have been trying to get my bearings on Arya and Big One. Presumably the sites are somewhere along or near Gunpowder Road, leading to the "big city" of that name. I also understand the Capricorn mine is in the vicinity . . . always like to know where I am having got bogged down more than once in Kalahari sand.

Looks as though they could do with a road grader up there.
