Could someone more knowledgeable have a better stab at SINTs which I have tried to define on another board. Part of it is right but it still lacks something.

Two trades popped up after the close. They are designated as "SINT". Definition of which is -

"A Systematic Internaliser (SI) is an investment firm which, on an organised, frequent systematic and substantial basis deals on own account when executing client orders outside a regulated market, an MTF or an OTF without operating a multilateral system."

The NT part is probably "negotiated trade". The area is foreign to me and I am clueless on whether it has anything to do with the bond arrangement. Or it might tie in with GTE histrionics (in other words a private deal). The position may become clearer in the morning unless someone can provide an explanation now.

TAL - TSX saw a fair amount of profit taking on opening. It's settled down and the SP drifted to 30c ( minus 6.25%). I was hoping for a better day.

Down nearly 8% this morning.
Expectations dented although it may recover later.

Unfortunately it is now the little men getting in on the smash and grab.
I did think the process would end when the IIs got out of the way.
Not to be.
The lesson learnt is buy only on the dips for the foreseeable.

Next examination of where we are going today is @ 14:30.

Nothing useful to add here other than to note that I am always wary of BlackRock. For me they have a certain notoriety.

Having difficulty assimilating the science. Whereas radiation detection is within my compass pathogen detection is totally alien. The problem becomes more awkward to grasp when a virus mutates completely altering known characteristics. How quickly can a detector's program be adjusted/adapted to recognise a new threat.

Already I hear whispers that the Astra-Zeneca jab is not going to be effective against the S African variant. Also, I have today been in touch with a Capetonian who has gone down a second time with covid and the impact on her has been more pronounced than it was in June. In sum we still have to learn quite a lot more about the disease.

Therefore, coming full circle, if Kromek's detector handles the first viral strain footprint is it going to recognise the mutant?

It's a powerful 20-minute story and I was fortunate to come across it a short time ago. One blemish in my support was to offload half of the stock following GTE's somersault. Have again restored (quadrupled) the holding @ 14.20p.

MZ points out the company is the second largest Peruvian oil producer. We already know he has planned 4 new wells this year. Besides #107 acquisitions are on his slate. What I did not realise was an intention to step into Colombia and Ecuador. The former is especially encouraging as GTE links will continue. If there are opportunities within GTE's existing footprint, i.e. available licences alongside their oilfields, it could be a very lucrative development. None too sure about Ecuador although things should become clearer post-election victory.

My sense is the market hasn't quite recognised the reach of Petrotal.
