A real muddle for more than 30 mins. The London exchange is listing Canadian trades in dollars. First time I have seen that and it appears to have frozen local transactions. TSX doesn't seem to be able to cope with the volumes, albeit small.

We may benefit from TSX by clinging to their coat-tails. TSX up 6.67% after 10 mins.

Would appreciate all spin that regulars can give me.

The effect of TSX can be odd. We have wallowed all day, TSX opens 7% stronger and we immediately react. Perhaps an announcement is on the way.

Rather subdued at present and I am not spending unnecessary time on PTAL or the internet. Sturm asked a question in January. The answer is uncertain but I feel it is excluded from both the pipeline and the hedge . . . possibly wrong. Government dues will, however, apply.

Also MrB produced a link to PetroPeru production figures which for some reason has not offered up any information since 09/02 . . . there is no route into the page via any link.

On reflection I again wonder if there was some poor judgement here. The 15p offer seems heavily discounted, more so than the norm. One requirement could have been an urgency to improve the marketing arm and reach pronto. I wait to see if Friday's close falls any further. At present the cash raise might be one that does not follow familiar trends in the share price.

@ 23:30 - It's easy to be swept along by encouraging pointers. I prefer to avoid upping the ante when looking at some past indifferent investment decisions. With regard to zerohedge article: So what happens if the taps are turned on creating over-supply?

In theory PTAL should return to its year ago highs - in short time too - but fooling others into taking up the challenge is to be avoided. On inspection my own success on AIM has been very iffy, i.e. swings and roundabouts, whereas other posters seem to enjoy huge profits each year.

My two long festering thorns - SOLG and SCLP - for two different reasons could at last see cure-alls. SOLG might take another month but SCLP (as it's on the airwaves across Europe) could instantly double on Monday morning. Dream on . . ..

I note that a certain Lee Bothma, 'n Suid-Afrikaner, of MicroMine is the brain behind New Luika and Singida assessments. It was whilst searching the nine discoveries at Singida that I came across it.
