I'm clinging on but under the circumstances feel that NM should have jumped off the carousel immediately. It is not said with disrespect but acceptance we all start losing it after 70 and I speak as a full-time working 80-year old.

My SOLG pot is halved and some of it has been put in closed Tsumeb and Otavi Cu mines as I know them well. Another chunk has gone into BrokenHill/NSW and BrokenHill/Zambia plus CCZ. It's not going to end there because copper deposits are urgently needed.

I admire those who have stuck at it for longer than my 10 years' endurance run with SOLG.

Interesting comments @ 15:26 and 15:52. I wasn't able to keep an eye on CCZ in the last 1-1/2 hours trading. But one step at a time . . . I may hang in for 2 years. I used to know the scene at BrokenHill, Zambia, very well. The word there during Kaunda's time was massive Cu deposits still remained.

Time for another thorough examination if I don't have to nibble at CCZ, Shanta and a couple of other stocks.

Would be fantastic if the kit is fast-tracked. Certainly not impossible when seeing how quickly the vaccine has been developed. Whereas I seem to remember the Salk polio vaccine was in the pipeline for more than two years.

Thanks Sturm, 803799 and others for red-flagging GTE. I don't think I would have picked it up or otherwise given it adequate attention. So you saved me a bundle after exiting with half my stake two days ago. The remaining half looks a bit sorry for itself.

Trying to interpret the GTE disclosure differently and optimistically. Yet I suppose the balance of 137m could easily be dumped @ 13c or below. Surely the company could have carried out a buyback to lessen the blow. Maybe they did so for all we know.

Bottom line = I am ready to retrieve my stake.

I think the Aussies will be a trifle miffed if we get crucial announcements before they wake up in the morning. Perhaps the NT you refer to has more to do with another large buy being filled. I'd like to think we are on the way back to 4+p this afternoon.

Not too unhappy with my buy-in yesterday. I needed to find a new pot for copper stocks after dispensing with half of SOLG. An alternative was to look into re-opening of mines in N Namibia. Otavi and Tsumeb plus some mineralisation there is familiar. Broken Hill workings, north of Lusaka, are equally attractive however.

Should SP proceed with BHA NSW divestment, fair enough, but listing an IPO on AIM is no cheap exercise. On the other hand, focusing on Big One is a practical way forward. Assays should be very soon.

Satisfied with my buy-in and don't expect miracles or bland reassurances from the CEO. In the meantime their product range continues to sell on international markets.
