I was about to comment the SP was starting to look a bit flaky. With the bid rising to 15.525p it shows one can never be sure. I certainly know Canadians are rather partial to S American investment.

After doing another extensive read on the Tanzania Craton I'll be making yet another Shanta purpose - maybe this afternoon if it's sub17p.

I shall not go to the extent of thinking our licences could eventually replicate the sort of discoveries found in the Vaal Triangle in the 1880s: the craton does not have dolomites of the volume present along the Witwatersrand. Won't bore anyone with more geology.

Yuri is going to have his hands full.

@ 17:08 Yes, the next few weeks could be riveting. Yet Shanta's drift today came as a surprise.

Performance on any stock is not guaranteed and I hesitate on the future gold price. Two consecutive days of marked weakness is unexpected. I have diversified into three other stocks, one of them being PTAL today. They do well and I stick to the principle of only buying where the fundamentals are sound. SOLG shenanigans continue to baffle.

If SHG's present SP remains at this level a final, final add-on will be made in the morning.

I take it that the late reported trade was a buy as it did not affect the SP. Being my first day here I also assume it has been one of the company's better performances. Could be quite a pleasing addition to anyone's PF if the pipeline can be sorted.

One blocker went for a moment. Bid 37.8p.

Now that I have done the homework on it this stock seems a darn sight more solid and the company well steered than my nemesis (AMER) across the border. The current defining point is it meets its projected targets on or ahead of schedule . . . can't ask for more than that.

And it seems to have established its first divi a while back.

With all the covid3 outside I find excuses for not going to work. It enables free time to recall largely forgotten Mbeya features.
