@ 12:01 Please note that I try to reduce word use to the minimum as so much junk appears on the bbs.
No, I have not sold any SHG. In fact, I have gone well beyond the early rationale. Unless something remarkable occurs no changes will be made. Having to date acted unwisely on e.g. SOLG I shall not indulge in any more explorers; a basic rule is to stick to companies with sound balance sheets. Younger folk can pursue the higher risks as they have more years on their side to make good on misjudgements.
Instead I am concentrating on FTSE250 and 350 where growth is likely.
W.r.t. Shanta an ideal voice would be someone like Jonathan Leslie, who has a real grasp of Tanzania. Apparently there are six or more greenstone belts there and barely a start has been made on exploration. The acreage around NLGM is an example: South Porcupine was a surprise, esp one prolific feisic. Track that vein and the company may get into the headlines. And by establishing a (?)6m+ oz resource in Kenya/Tanzania combined we may see AngloAshanti and Barrick outside the door.
Because I don't go along with projected PoG the present policy of open pit extraction keeps AISCs under control. West Kenya drilling therefore to 200 - 500 m max (determined by the rig in use) is a logical step. One rig onsite suggests a minimum 3 - 4 month drilling operation. Good assays will light up the forum. Furthermore it seems logical that the Lihranda corridor extends into Busia, Uganda, and beyond skirting Mt Elgon. (Before Witwatersrand, Barberton OFS was the first gold discovery. The Transvaal Reef came along a few years later. Tanz and WK could follow a similar pattern.)
Other than a single sentence It is not really fair to comment on BMN. Judging from the S African accents in Kent together with hundreds who still want to escape SA, plus the rabid behaviour of Julius M together with BEE-E factors, covid3, etc the country is in very bad shape.
