Village. Just listened to the Sunday Roast. It looks like I was correct as these first vapes in latest RNS) will not contain CBD - hence the lack of reference to CBD in their recent RNS. This was the point i was making which you dismissed as a lie.

A CBD vape of sorts will be launched once they have designed, manufactured the vape device and put it through the administrative compliance hurdles - so there is one on the way but was not discussed in the RNS.

So it looks like the new vape product in the recent RNS the " botanical" will be CHILLs new hero product according to CS, originally it was Chill smokes, then gummies and now its zero nicotine Vapes.

I think the important point that was missed in this interview was that even though Vapes are overtaking smokers in certain age groups - they are not smoking nicotine free vapes! The vape strengths are between 18mg down to 3mg.
Yes, some people buy zero nicotine liquid or disposals but they are limited in choice , because zero nicotine vapes are not that popular. The big sales are in with nicotine vapes.
I would like to see the data of what percentage of vapers smoke zero nicotine compared to percentage that smoke nicotine vape - obviously CHILL think its zero nicotine vapes will be the best sellers but why?

The point is what motivates a customer to spend a lot of money, and visit a vape shop regularly to buy their favourite flavour vape juice - its the nicotine!

Its very much like comparing zero alcohol beer to alcoholic beer...........yes there is a market for zero alcoholic beer but nothing like normal beer - have a look at the market of zero vs alcoholic beer and you will find that zero beer is just a small sub section of sales, a niche market.

Take the 18 - 26 year old market for beer - it must be massive. How many of these guys would drink regularly if the only choice was non alcoholic beer. What would be the point? That's why I believe nicotine will be the big seller in vapes in the future as it was in cigarettes in the past - because its the feeling of calm you get ( just for an hour or so) once you have fed the addicted body some nicotine ............same as the buzz you get from one or two pints of alcoholic beer.
Nicotine vapes give you the same addiction, dependency as do cigarettes.

The big tobacco players know this, that's why they do not see nicotine vapes as a threat, they are embracing them as they know they can hook youngsters on nicotine via vapes - just as they did in past using tobacco .......and once hooked, they have a customer for life.
Its the nicotine that is the key to their future business. Its only a matter of time that company's such a BAT or Marlboro hand out cheap free vapes, instead of free cigarettes in Africa.

I think from memory CHILL took revenue after promotional expenditure for year ending 2022 of approx $600,000 ex. promotional payments. They have had the partnership with BettermentRS since November 21.
The approx. 360 shops referred too, if they were to sell just one pack a day at $10 ( top price, not promotion or discount) this would produce approx. $1500 per shop over the five months to year end 22. This would give a revenue of approx $550,000.

However, we know there was some income form ATTAC, and other revenue streams and online during this time because we were told so. So the actual sales must have been much lower.

So CHILL are no longer specialising in CBD ( the major reason for the company's existence and their funding for past two years) but now widening their horizons to non CBD products.....I may pop back in a few months just to see what they have come up with and attempting to sell then.

Go into nay newsagent and they are full of very variety of vapes, and with very keen price points. No one needs to go toa specialist shop anymore - even Three flavours of TAAT are sold in newsagents in South London now, i've seen then stacked up on the counters - just over £5 a pack. The world is moving faster than we realise and the past two years was a missed opportunity.

You have to wonder why KMK have given us this info.

I do not think that Col. Vityalii Kraskovskyi, the Defence Attaché of Ukraine just happen to come across the KMK stand , and the fact KMK have released this info as important on their web site could mean that their are developments in possible orders for Ukraine in progress.

Recent concerns from the IAEA, and their recent visits in late November 22 to check out the damage at the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant along with Chernobyl and two others that together provide 50% of Ukraine's energy in peace time have highlighted big concerns, regarding shelling and also the lack of power that could if disrupted cut off supply to the cooling mechanism that cools the reactors , and make them safe.

I read also that the original Ukraine radiation monitoring network ( introduced in 2011) surrounding Zaporizhzhya had been damaged - so it was taken offline for several months and has now only just restarted, yet remains damaged..............so in theory there may be a big opportunity here..........One that Europe will pay any price to keep Ukraine and Europe safe, or at least give an early warning of a radioactive leak.

DTRA are worth a read. They have very deep pockets, fantastic homeland and worldwide partner connections and Kromek have offerings that are obviously on their radar and could be developed and procured, otherwise KMK would not be invited to present in the first place.
My gamble is that the world has changed, and now KMKs technology is becoming more relevant. It may have been a long game so far, the past is the past and the future is unknown but surely the opportunities for KMK are greater now than ever before.

Smiths Detection are massive, just like their contract wins. The customers are often sovereign country's. You have to ask yourself why have they signed up KMK to their stable of partners - it can only be they see massive opportunities going forward in wearable, connected radiation detectors.

A good example of what was cutting edge in 2019 . In 2019 they won a contract with CWMD (Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction office - USA) with a $291m ceiling, allows for multiple orders of SDI products and services under a single contract, and provides flexibility for the customer in follow-on order decisions.
This order was for "Passive checkpoint" solutions which can detect potentially dangerous radiation emitting material which passes through its detection zone. The portal is capable of scanning trucks, vehicles, containers, packages and people.

KMK have (we hope) a new generation of mobile, connected , wearable detectors - which can be deployed anywhere , fast.

Smiths Detection must see a large market in North America for this solution, - mobile networked Radiation detection in communities - for firsts responders, police, military, etc.

Hopefully, this is the very beginning of a whole new market in the USA which could be as large , if not larger than the static / passive radiation contract won in 2019.

Smiths are a trusted global player in threat detection and recently signed contracts with Qatar for the world cup. If you look back at Smiths news feed of contracts they have won - they are everywhere. Smiths now have a portable wearable radiation detector to market and distribute to their already trusted customers - so should be interesting going forward as to the size, of some of these contracts.

Ideally, a good contract in the near future from Smiths , could be what the market need to see, so to take the KMK opportunity seriously.
