The heightened awareness of the importance of radiation and bio security - especially in light of covid years , and Ukraine and no doubt at sometime Israel and Iran et al.
The UK Radiation monitoring contract coming up for being awarded.
Recent positive info relating to US serious on monitoring homeland and abroad for bio hazards, dirty bombs etc
Also a general feeling that the world today is a different pace to this time last year in regards to s security and investment and that my punt is based on the fact that KMK has the technology, it works, it wins awards etc and so is also ready for procurement. Saber rattling with ballistic missiles, USA ordering anti radiation drugs in their hundreds of millions ....showing USA want to be prepared for everything and anything.
Also , those two funding RNSs we received a few months ago were strange IMO, they did not go for a large funding amount to fund for 18 months or so....but two separate smaller amounts.... I'm thinking they have the orders or a nod of possible orders ( i have no idea which, or from where) and need the capital to fund, manufacture and deliver.........

Plus maybe naively / contrarian wise I'm thinking that if KMK cant take advantage of some of the above then they deserve to fail...but I think there is a good chance they will win orders, possibly significant orders this time ....

Lastly, I'm not in any share for life as that's a mugs game but a 50% return would be appreciated. Which historically has been approx. doable a few times - so why not again.
I do agree that the history here has been nothing but disappointment but just as my younger self, i did eventually manage to straighten myself out and progress.

People often say that a bombed out share like this should be put in your bottom draw and left for a long time , on this occasion I think it's more like it should be placed in your inside jacket pocket and buried along with its owner.
If there is ever any future here it will not be including any current investors.
It sickens me how little respect certain company's on AIM have for cash, they blow it without regard knowing that they can fu£K over their investors and get more money at anytime.
Yes, the company may survive but only at the expense (literally) of their long term investors.
Its we who pay for their ineptitude. While we see our investment diluted to death THEY still have their hands on company and any future assets.

I can't believe any one of the new investors !! coming in to bail out the company has any faith in
the BODs, their abilities to manage large amounts of money or have any intention on keeping hold of the shares - and will dump them for the foreseeable future....ensuring they get paid before the BODs manage to spend the cash and come back with their begging tins once again.

All Should be sacked and those responsible for finance should be sent back to school or banned from running any business with a turnover higher than a ice cream van.

Skid35. Time will tell. I am hoping that with Smith Detection now partnering with KMK in North and South America should get result in significant sales. Smiths already supply detection products to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction office.

If you go to page 18 on my computer, which is page iii on the actual strategy ( following page 15) you will find GOAL 1 in more depth. Early Warning...
"Develop the ability to rapidly detect, characterize, report, forecast, and share relevant
information (including genetic sequence data), as appropriate, on pathogens that pose a
biological threat of national or international significance soon after they emerge in humans,
animals , and plants. Early warning will inform and enable (a) early assessment and
identification of the origin of biological incidents and (b) effective decision-making and
interventions at local, national, and international levels."
The bit that stood out for me was the inclusion of "pathogen genome sequence data".
This is something that Kromek can now do via their KAPscan-AS device .....
"Using Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), the full genome is read and compared against databases of existing pathogens, therefore when an emerging novel threat is tested, it can be detected as parts of their genome is shared by close taxonomic relatives. I know that any positivity here is pushing it in light of the past years performances by BODs and false dawns...

But maybe, just maybe KMKs technology which is I'm sure we all agree is brilliant is finally maturing and coming into its own at long last, and is bang in the sweet spot- where government's are under pressure to fund at any cost.

9/ 11 was terribly tragic but was an isolated act, in one city and that act changed the world, and caused massive investment the aviation and defence sectors.

Imagine what effect the COVID years ( setting aside terrorism) will have on future government investments so to project their populations and economies.
IMO at 8p a share and at with possible Government and private contracts looking forward - along with the Medical arm of the company, then now is a good time to invest as any............and that is without mentioning

I do wonder who is taking advantage of whom sometimes..

Todays rise on the back of todays RNS strikes me as strange as putting the news of BOD changes - everything else remains the same as the previous RNS , which was two weeks ago.
Either the company has been saved by a dilution or this share is in dire trouble and no one wants to be holding them when the music stops .. and todays reversal is a false dawn, a manipulation by those who need to shift their holdings.

How can anyone really know whats going on behind the scenes.

How can you run a company when you focus solely on social media to promote the future potential of their offering and neglect to allocate someone to keep an eye on the present day revenues to ensure they can pay their bills...especially when the bill in question was the one only recently taken out to prevent further fund raisng and dilution from happening.!....I think the BoDs must have lost touch with the basic rule of business that you do need to pay bills with hard cash and talk of possible future revenues is meaningless until it hits the accounts.
I don't hear anyone talking about possible future unicorn opportunities now ....all I hear is a tin being handed around and the sound of 1p coins

Meant to add two weeks since the speculation RNS and three weeks before payment deadline of £4m .....what can you sell in three weeks to even if cover the debt....even if they fing the money to pay first installment this just kicks the problem a month down the road....imo they do not have a choice. Hope I'm wrong.

I can't see how this can progress without a fund raise ! Twekce days sincd tge speculation rns was delivered and it states that the £4 million plus intetrest will need to be paid by 14th November plus they will be asking for more than this as working capital....if this raise goes ahead the £4 m alone will be greater than the company's entire market cap. The silence from the company is getting louder by the day..

It as embarrassing as owning a Ferrari 250 GTO and having to ask the neighbours for £100 to put some petrol into the car....

Just three weeks ago!! They say the best way to judge someone is not by what they say, but what they do...

This is what they decided to inform us just three weeks ago and it looked rather positive ....yet, they must have already considered their next move, must have known that either they can't or will not pay off the first installment of the loan agreement and must have already started the process of looking around to get a fund raise of the ground.
So here we are down form 9p three weeks ago to struggling to hang onto 3p -in just three weeks !

this is the line that resonates with me form the recent RNS
"exploring options on how to achieve the best return of value to shareholders"

Remember this is recent information that the company would have agonised over and specifically chose to include in their update to us, and the general market.

Talk about double speak....How can we as investors ever rely on information given to us either by live presentations or RNS.
Investing here, is presently like being blind and being given misleading directions.

and just to add that according to the FDBK web site
"The Company’s issued share capital at the above date ( 25 July 2022) was 2,666,931,677 ordinary shares of 0.25 pence each. The percentage of shares not held in public hands and in so far as the Company is aware (as defined by AIM rule 26) was 68.01%.
So under 30% in free float which is less just over 4 million shares.... and we hold some of them :)

Any serious developments should shift the sp.

We know have a company capitalised at £14m , with approx 14 m shares in circulation and Cash reserves of approx £10 million in May 2022. Approx £500,000 revenue form last update and with at least two massive opportunities that have only just started to mature............If FDBK fail then we all fail, but there are no signs of this IMO and we have everything to play for - if the technology is taken up in either or both the UK or India then the Market Cap could look rather small.

The whole point of the loan was to , in their words " avoids stock market fluctuations, eliminates the need for a discounted equity dilution of shareholders",

Ironic that the reasons given for the loan in the March RNS have actually happened despite holding the £25 m loan facility . This is is exactly what has happened . The SP is at 3p , and it looks very likely, if they manage to get the raise that shareholders will be diluted out of their investment and may never see a profit.

The company may survive, live to fight another day but at the expense of LT investors - which they stated was not their intention.
