I has OO down as a defensive play in todays economic environment in the simple sense that it is already making money, in an exploding new market, in an industry that is not at all dependent on the public, such as high street consumers spending and has some valuable spin outs that will one day be executed. Yet, this somewhat simple and IMO sensible criteria has not shown results.......so either the markets are in total confusion or there is something I have missed.
To be honest, ( we are all limited in what we can see by our own preferences) the same thing seems to be happening to many other shares also....so i see it as the tide has gone out and it is a matter of waiting for the tide to return but from what i can see regarding other shares is OO is doing a much more solid job, with solid future revenues, prospects, cash etc and is still being treated along with many others less favourable shares...
So I am confused at present as it does not seem to matter how good the news is, the sp does not react ( across the board) ....so IMO the good news is that its not OO per se, its the economy etc ...and the big question is ..how long can this go on for and how long can each individual investor hang on for. ....
