Last May 19 ( just 10 months ago) Arden came out with targeats for CC of £7 million revenue end of 2019, with £ 12 expected revenue end 2020. Their was much talk of opportunities in pipeline, and tenders that CC were Involved with.....this gave a SP of 5p last May.
With none of this likely to happen this year , and inevitable more delays to smart meter deployment in most areas if the world. Today's SP looks rather expensive with no "business income" expected this year....., just loans .

Anyone else surprised by the lack of reaction to the RNS yesterday. We had worse days on absolutely no news. I'm surprised the SP was not punished yesterday. I can't see any short term relief offered in the RNS ....other than the £1 million income over past quarter, which I'm guessing is what CC have been drawing on to keep trading.

Modi has aplogised and asked for forgiveness from the indian public. I can't believe he will get it any time soon. ....it's the sheer numbers involved...and it's not about social distancing for these people at the moment it's about food and shelter...
To be honest I think Modi is damed either way.....if he lays on transport, which is happening in some states like kerrela ...then millions of desperate unemployed will flock to all corners of India. .possibly taking the virus with them..and if he continued marshal law ...tens of thousands will riot and possibly starve....he will be judged in retrospect.

They better get a government bail out soonish....as there will be no income from anywhere else for at least 3 months ,maybe much longer......I.e. Income not LOIs.
Not being negative here...just realistic, I can't see how else they can keep their smart lights on.

Government bailout like for the airlines. It's only as a last resort and will not be for any that look likely to fail / non profit making.

Evening CB. I can't see how CC ( and plenty more) can find the considerable amounts of money to continue trading, it's not coming from the UK, nor India ...Thailand won't place another order until they have "spent " the recent order....and that looks set for a delay. ....let's say that some kind of normality begins to return in September....that's six months of cash required just to sit out this crisis. Who's going to stump up that kind of money....just as a holding measure.

I suppose it was inevitable . Must 50% of all humanity locked down now.

Can't believe the story that this pandemic started from a few people eating bats or lizards , just a few months ago. I reckon someone's let either intentionally or by accident a genie out of a glass test tube. ......I would prefer to believe it is a natural phenomena. ...but such potential! Could eventually effect everyone on the planet, over time.
Where will this company and many others find the money to continue trading.? What are the options. Anyone?

Recent Noises coming out if Tamil Nadu regarding rollout of new smart meters sion....interestingly, references to copying the Types of smart meters that were installed in T Nagar which was part of the Smart City initiative.

On a particularly trivial note, considering the country, let alone the world is approaching a dark period, where many will loose loved ones, and many more will live in fear of catching the Coronus virus.

It's an observation regarding how many / how few SmetS2 meters will be deployed in UK households over the next six to twelve months ...considering most homes Will be in lock down and saving a few extra quid a year from your electricity bill will seem even more trivial than in the past, and no longer important in the great scheme of things.....future revenue for CC from smetts2 can no longer be assumed for the next year at least. Just an observation.

Maybe we are behind the news curve. Will have to wait. My guess though is investors felt that future contract money may be diverted into virus management. If only they had a handheld virus detector. ..or state of the art body temperature monitor. ....feel I should buy at these levels for long term...but can't help thinking the situation has only just started. ....won't be long until they shut down stock markets ....as only bad newss expected as far as anyone can see at the present time.

Is independent and drives. We have put him under house arrest for three months. So all I am wanting to buy is a helper to visit him twice a week and do his shopping for him. I've Been to four agency's this morning and all of them are in the process of reprinting their price lists! They have all increased their rates by £2.50 per hour ...from £18 to £20.50 ph. They are also all flooded with work...but will fit him in somehow. Just the way of the world I suppose. They will be hiring ASAP new staff.

It's only a matter of time . The personal and economic misery has not even started yet.

If the falls on UK / world stock markets continue to collapse. Then they will suspend the stock market for as long as it takes to get confidence back. This maybe very good news for company's whom are looking for more time, or a get out of jail card.
Just left King's Cross.....it's was a ghost station....and only 3 people in my entire train carriage.
