Technology Partners FZ, LLC are working mainly in Iraq, it seems. They have CC listed as a partner under their Smart Grid and Cities section. . If you go to Industry Solutions and have a look at the Utilities section they are involved in Rf mesh in the Ami distribution network section as well as ABB ( for Longterm). They seems to work with many other companies and competitors of CC.

une 3 (ANI): Two lakh smart meters were sanctioned for Srinagar and Jammu under Prime Minister Development Package (PMDP) scheme, Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Government of Jammu and Kashmir said on Wednesday.
"2 lakh meters sanctioned under PMDP- one lakh each for Srinagar and Jammu cities," the DIPR tweeted.
While updating for smart metering, Secretary Technical Power Development Department has reviewed the progress in the Union Territory. Srinagar and Jammu cities have been sanctioned with meters under the PMDP scheme, said the officials.
Over 1.15 lakh meters procured so far will be equally distributed between Srinagar and Jammu cities.
In January, Union Minister of State for HRD, Communications, and Electronics and Information Technology Sanjay Dhotre had said that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi had sanctioned a development package of Rs 80,000 crore for Jammu and Kashmir, which is enabling the opening of IIT, IIM and AIIMs and allowing the development of highways, power generation and irrigation projects.
Further to this, many power-related projects are coming up and several other existing projects are being upgraded under PMDP in the Union Territory. (ANI)

Maybe this was responsible for the first sp bounce, before the recent RNS

I have recently read that in india a smart meter study of two towns - (with only around three hundred houses / flats / rich and poor etc etc was conducted, they all had cellular meter connections and the results showed that there was a loss of energy being billed to utility equivalent to 15% due to poor connectivity alone. The range was between 3% and 30% depending on what caused the connection problem , and how long it took for someone to investigate it, and resolve it, if it could be resolved at all. Even with these issues many customers complained that the bill was still to high, compared to what they paid before the new meters were installed.

Your probably correct Tony. Receiving money owed will probably be the next drama.

I think with the lack of any concrete information coming out from CC, all that is left is hope.

What is really annoying is that out of all the contract wins throughout the world, and over the years and even more recently - The UK SMIP contract that was / is the only one that had any certainty attached to it ! And from what i can see now, as far as what CC are providing, this has been kicked down the road for maybe another two or three years before any significant income appears.
The duel hub will probably used as a last measure, after several years of converting the easy fruit , so to hit the targets.

This explains the comments in the last set of CyanConnode Interims . Remember the new rollout target dates for uK are 2020 -2024.

Under its SMIP contract, CyanConnode calculates that 2.3 million Toshiba RF Hubs will eventually connect to the DCC secure network, and it is now beginning to see a small amount of revenue from those connections. However, as CyanConnode's SMIP contract is still at a relatively early stage, it is still not possible for the Company to confirm whether its revenue forecasts from the SMIP contract are accurate.

According to the Draft DCC Business and Development Plan published on the 15th May 2020. The duel Hub smart meters for the SMIP are now not likely to be launched until early next year (2021).

I'm confused, as wasn't Connode paid in advance for the first 500,000 units as part of the original dal. Therefore, Cyanconnode we will have to wait until these units have been deployed and activated before CC payments begin. I thought they had already began installing these units already. Apparently not ?

according to this report duel band hubs will be released mif 2020 which is this month. obviously this report published feb 20, so pre Covid . Good to see confirmation that duel band will cover 25% of premises.

The current Communication Hubs have a single band 2.4 GHz HAN frequency and are known as Single Band Comms Hubs (SBCH) and should provide HAN coverage between meters and the IHD in approximately 70% of premises.
For some buildings like blocks of flats or where walls are very thick, the smart meter can't communicate with the Comms Hub. So by mid 2020, a more sophisticated hub with a choice of frequencies will be available. These are called Dual Band Comms Hubs. They use a HAN frequency of 868MHz along with the existing 2.4GHz frequency. Dual Band Comms Hubs (DBCH) are expected to increase coverage to 95% of premises. (Updated: 2020-02-09)"
