Here they say that MultiTech provide " a LoRaWAN® mCard capable of supporting thousands of MultiTech mDotTM and xDot® long range RF modules connected to remote sensors or appliances".

Could MutiTech be supplying the Xdot rf modules to Trilliant ?

Trilliant are agnosic to any meter, communication technology , device or vendor, and have a variety of technologies for every application. ...that's what they say. The communication technology used will be chosen by the customer, and i'm sure that essl are not the end customer, they are purchasing the meters , end customer would be the utility. Wouldn't it?

There has been an increase in virus's these past 5- 10 years. This one went pandemic. Its not to hard to imagine that we are entering a new age of regular outbreaks..,,of one or the some other type...MERS, SARS, EBOLA etc.
Just imagine the impact on people and world economy if the next Covid virus had the death rate of Mers and Sars with the contagion of Covid .......... ?
Today i saw the news regarding the death rates and events in South America, truly shocking images, especially Mexico...along with their delusional leaders.... and this virus has an apparent low death rate somewhere around 1-2 %, I think. MERS and SARS have a 40-50% death rate.
With a 50% death rate , its easy to work out what the death rate in the UK, and world wide would be now.
I think we should worry less about this company and worry more about whether any one will get the chance to spend their pensions ( present company accepted).

I laughed when i read that several states in India have launched their " Pay and Win Prizes". As no meter readers are allowed to visit peoples homes, so the utility's are not getting paid. The new initiative is that the customer reads the meters them selves, and the utility's give a discount to bill, plus and prizes for customers who submit the reading within seven days of it being requested. It seems to be quite popular as you can submit what you want to pay, get the discount and possibly win a new mobile phone or fan.

I imagine that its probably one of the only things that anyone wants to buy / or can buy at the moment.
I'm guessing that most hospitals world wide are fixated on ventilators rather than imaging equipment, airports likewise have no traffic, unnecessary Government departments are mostly closed, and most private company's are not trading.
DARPA who knows what they are up to...but its been a long time coming. I think its a shrewd move, until normal state of play resumes in business worldwide. Normality is a way away at present, and know one knows when /if a second wave of virus will bite.

The question for me is . Does this new type of emergency ventilator that Metran have developed cost the same as standard ventilators? Kromek seem to have UK rights to sell here, but does the UK still require these ventilators? Does the licence allow them to sell abroad?

The good news as far as Metran in Japan is concerned is that they will not take orders for manufacture unless payment up front is received, and transport of units must be arranged by the customer. I wonder, if Kromek will have up front payments before manufacture! Kromek were first to respond to Metran, who by all reports are inundated with orders, that they can't
manufacture the quantities themselves ......Could be a meaningful spike in revenue if they can sell them.
As far as the SP goes, Kromek has been a real good trade these past years, not spectacular but pleasingly consistent if your a long term holder, but buy somewhere around the yearly lows. This year is different of course, but this order if sold on, is very good news.

Strange Simon Thompson did not mention the change in thinking regarding mechanical ventilators vs CCap air supply!
Just saying , as thinking is changing across the medical profession regarding the use of ventilators on only those patients with the poorest outcomes. The government have already cancelled the contract for more mechanical ventilators with Dyson.

I can remember a time when CC could do smart water meters. Today, BT and EE seem to have the lead in lprf radio water meters in the UK. I liked the last paragraph where BT say they can also do cellular connections as well as RF.

Hi Tony, Were all following a share that during a time when the world economy was booming, and smart metering was the holy grail, with promises of billions of dollars from Governments for the right technology, still ailed to produce any meaningful revenue.
The company has also failed to secure any of the near term contracts that they promised, and continue to make a loss, as it has done consistently for the past decade or longer. Now we have the collapse of the world economy, and everything is off the table for now, and probably for the next year or two....if a company cant make a profit during the summer days, hows it going to make a penny in mid winter. Money will be hard to come by for a while.
I cant see any future here any longer but the same peeps on the BB keep to their long rehearsed scripts.
Most are negative, but a few continue to see the good here, regardless of the state of the company, the economy and sheer length of time before events can even remotely go back to as before.
I see you and LT as revivalists ....waiting for the this company to be born again.
