Call me old fashioned but you would expect a few investors to have bought a few shares following the UK Investor Magazine – Virtual Investor Seminar event! I fear it's been a wee bit to long since the event now for any fireworks..... looks like were back to the good old drip drip drop share retrace.

Well Done to those who doubled their money in past six weeks.....I got in a tad late and out a tad early but still made more money in past six weeks than years invested here. I will probably do similar next time but it's a good return and most importantly i feel in control and its SAFE.

Thanks LT. Yes, i noticed these opportunities. Maybe i'm getting a little impatient. There has never been a shortage of future potentials here ....that's something CC never run out of, but CC just need to demonstrate that they can make increasing ( year on Year) amounts of income, and get paid / bank it.

As an aside on the UK investors webinar last week, under the contingency measures of Covi 19 page 5, i think . CC state alongside other measures that CC have taken to mitigate the effects of the virus that " China back on-line for any manufacturing requirements" .
I imagine this is in reference to Beijing Instruments and their relationships with Indonesia, etc and not specifically in relation to any orders in India? A im sure you are aware EESL and others have come out and will not take any smart meters made in china, or with chinese components , let alone modules and gateways.

Am I correct in thinking that India is supplied only with components made in India, ( which was a big thing a while ago) and CC are not dependent on Chinese made parts to supply India?

Just want to flag something up that stood out in the UK Investor Magazine Webinar.

As we are all aware the relationship between China and India is the worst its been for a generation.
India will not have anything to do with Chinese smart meters or i any parts of imported chinese smart meters, especially around communication, i am guessing.

India it seems is serious. In the investors presentation last week one slide on the effects of Covid 19 on Cyanconnodes business stated among other things such as CyanConnode adapted quickly, Managing cash and resources carefully and expect to be able to meet obligations etc etc and also "China back on-line for any manufacturing requirements !!!"
Does anyone know why this was included in the presentation, and how dependent are CC on parts made in China?
I assumed all parts were made in India ? Anyone have any ideas why this was included.in the presentation, if it was not an important step, in demonstrating how CC are being enabled to get back to some a sort of normality in supplying their solutions to customers.

Just my opinion but how can you invest in smoke and Mirrors....and im not referring to CC particularly. ..I'm referring to the contracts And Tenders that are announced, get investors excited and they invested in something they believe is going to happen...then hear nothing further for years....how can anyone trust the limited info released. ....CC have had a long history of these kind of situations.....it's got to the point that investing on posative news ( unless you sell shortly afterwards) is a bad decision. ....so I'm assuming 90% of small investors are short term holders...

It looks like to me that the original tender was cancelled, and then re tendered in December 2019, only to extend the date of tender closing April 20 ( i think) to 9th July 2020. Then they closed it, and cancelled on 28th June 2020.
Does give the impression that this Bangladesh tender, and several similar before are just fishing , casting their bate, to see what and who bites, before cancelling.
This was advertised as a mega tender .. the numbers i have read were potentially anywhere between 2 and 4 million points, to the successful consortium. If this continues, how will investors ever know when to get excited, when to trust news that a contract / tender win, will still be in place the following year.

This tender was cancelled on the 28th June 2020, just two days before the UK Investor Magazine's Virtual Investor Seminar.

I get the feeling that the share price is being managed, with many relatively small buys compared to fewer, yet much higher value sells...give the impression this is being gently walked up......recycled.....is it possible, yes..is it probable, I don't know.
Usually the sp goes up on good news, then comes down, but this continues to Creep up....why is that.?.. If someone was In the know they would buy and be done with it., Less likely to continuously drip buys over extended time.
Historically, this would be the time for a fundraise, may be its different this time. Hope so .

AEK offer a 6LOWPAN RF Mesh, GPRS and PLC solution and boast a 2 million prepaid meters order from Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL). Reading this interview with AEL - the thing that stood out was

"Do you have any technical collaboration, especially for your smart meter business?
Yes, we are doing a collaborative R&D project with a Canadian company in which we are presenting a smart meter equipped with RF (radio frequency) communication system.



EESL, as we understand, has floated a tender to procure 5 million smart meters on a pan-India basis. Have you participated in this tender?

We have not participated in this particular tender because there is some clarity pending with respect to technical specification of the smart meters. I feel that even the specifications of the communication network and the system integration has to be a little clearer."
