RE: Too late?30 Dec 2019 23:08
Just to add some further info to explain my cynical view point.
Two years ago approx we had something around 300 million opportunity pipeline of tenders, 40 million plus order book ( half uk contract), we had Bangladesh and iran mega contracts ( never materialised) yet two years later ....the market is set on fire with this relative small , initial 30,000 unit Thailand RNS, with possibly extension ( like nearly all other CC contracts .....most we are still waiting for repeat orders).
We've had two RNSs over past week. India and Thailand .....both will be negotiated later in January? So neither contract negotiated fully. Hence , I get a feeling of CC under pressure, need to up theirgamme, get some news flow during Christmas week ( not usually a good time) , to up the SP. otherwise, why not wait for full contract negotiations in a few weeks....something solid to offer investors.
Today's RNS landed on a very odd day and imo would have normally landed on a normal working week day when market open properly. This makes me feel , it's forced and for a reason. Could be wrong.
Today's, share price reaction was extradordinary compared to other contract wins, CC have not had such a positive share price reaction to a new contract for years, this is strange as a relative quite day, and the meters will need to be deployed before any further orders , therefore no instant revenue , income minimal for the next quarter. So why such an unusual sp reaction ( thanks anyway, I appreciate it) .
History tells me that a placing is close. It always was in past . The initial 80% sp rise, on this initial 30,000 small contract, is ODD. I may be wrong and if so, I apologise and will watch very closely.
