RE: Just a reminder24 Nov 2019 15:52
That's one of the things that has made me mad. We were often quoted the pipeline, tenders that CC thought they stood a chance of converting to real orders = signed contracts = income = share price increase.
Then came along the order book , which I interpreted as a list of confirmed contracts, signed, awarded,....proper grown up stuff, awarded to CC to date
( with each contract worth a certain amount of money to CC, going forward, including the UK rollout).
It was only when out of the blue the order book shrunk, and two large contracts fell off one end, along with a promise that a few more new ones may be added sometime in the future, to make up for them. It made me realise that it's a merry go round of an order book....and investors who invested in good faith on the announcement of Iran etc must now feel cheated as the information given as factual ( the rns announcing the deal) at that time, has just been taken away.
So begs the question what sort of contracts make up the CC order book, are they real signed contracts with penalty's and incentives or just promises and favours with no real business or legal standing.
The only real contract CC have at the present time that seems transparent ( although that's arguable) is the UK rollout won by Connode.
