With all the fundraising over the years ( yearly highlight) , by Cyan Holdings , my thinking is that the £50 million loan is the accumulation of these funding rounds, which were loaned from Cyan Holdings to its subsidiary for working capital. The no interest, no redemption date...is a very special loan between close friends...most of this loan would have been spent, but the loan has grown....I'm guessing the loan will eventually be deleted as it was never Cyan Holdings cash in the first place, it was mostly ours.

It looks to me Cyanconnode Ltd are in debt of around £50 million to Cyan holdings , the mother company.

To anyone reading the latest RNS and not knowing the history.....this SP must look like a gift.. ( SP on a low, and the company have informed the market that 3/ 4 contracts to be delivered to us soon, the first in a few weeks. Doesn't it just seems to simple and easy to make a profit here!
Either everyone has bought there lot or no one is interested today.

There's not a lot of room for further disappointment...a few weeks, mustn't turn into a few months, years ...etc . The problem I have, and I expect many have is confidence in deciding when a contract win, is actually a sticky contract win, and does not fade into nothing a few years later when Income does not appear....the next few RNSs have to be big, with a specific near term timeline for expected income .

Tony, I have no evidence CC involved but these contracts for these telecoms expected in a few weeks ...that's probably the only connection other than CC have / once had, a relationship with both telcos in past.

These expected contracts we are all waiting for must be income enhancing within 2-3 months as cut off was beginning of October for them to be included in this years accounts...

Seven years later.delayed in 2012' again in 2013, and expected in 2014....still not arrived ! Just a cautionary note. I hope this time, even thoughts have three/ four contracts delayed, they actually appear as we have been informed....

Cyan order is further delayed
Cyan Holdings has confirmed that an order exceeding $1m from a major metering customer in India has been further delayed. The order was originally announced in May 2012 but on 24 December notified shareholders that due to delays in the TNEB tender process, the order would be fulfilled in 2013. Cyan says that due to the continued delays in the TNEB tender process, the customer has informed Cyan that the order will be carried forward into the new calendar year. Cyan says the customer is....."
