IF CC land a couple of multimillion tenders this next quater and also become involved in some way in the recent EESL Expression of interest ....how much gross income do you think CC will land from these NEW wins by end of the March financial year? Please don't include any income from existing contrsacts that CC have already won such as BI in China, iran, westAfrica , Europe, Bangladesh, ukraine, Middle East, NIK, UK rollout etc ....rest of the world ..or any nearby planets in our solar system. Income only from the contracts that CC have not yet won...?

It's a sobering thought that under the Uday sceme alone they have supplied over 25 million people with electricity in the past 16 months....mostly villages...
I'm guessing most of these potential customers don't have a meter installed yet.....if you compare that number with how many smart meters in situ in India so far, from memory it was less than half a million. EESL can continue doing 5 million meter tenders as much as they want...but the bottom line is someone will need to crack on and install them.....lets hope the ministry of Power are having a re think. The meters will still need to be installed whatever the technology is inside them.

From what I can see no one has bought a share in CC since 9.30 am this morning , since then people who bought yesterday are nervous about leaving their dosh here over the weekend. Strange,such lack of activity on such good news! What's it going to take for peeps to keep their money here for longer than 24 hours. .....suspension lol

The recent Genus LOI is for 80% of contract income in first two years then remainder over 7 years is for maintanace...does that mean after year two the perpetual liscense for the technology is given as free?

In comparison, in yesterday's CC broadcast. I think CC want to go down the provide the technology for free upfront and make a regular return on a monthly charge ....for the liscense. ..opposites.....but the monthly charge method will mean no upfront payments. ..I guess, it will be an incremental increase in revenue as each meter is activated. ....it looks like it's going to be a mix of the two.

Interesting the direction of the Sp now that CC have played their Ace card.....the EESL connection is probably one of the most awaited announcements....as far as many longtermers are concerned.....it trumps Iran and Ukraine....but CC still need to give the market some idea where the promised incomes I'll come from, and when , to keep the company financed. These associations are fantastic for such a tiddler ....but need to be able to see the potential of income that is possible in the near term. Imo.

If only we can have a presentation just like the one released today, but released twice a day for the foreseeable future.... we should all be OK. Nice presentation......but i'm guessing the buying is on the back of that - and will need more positive news next week to keep the SP up.

Tony, it's a possibility as we're dealing with several different contracts. As has already been mentioned the numbers do not add up with the recent LOI not being large enough to, and with no obvious up front payment to have made the contract expected before October to have had any effect on earnings this year. !

Maybe the recent LOI contract was NOT the one CC had hoped to have had signed off before october 19. Maybe the recent one is another that came close to being signed of, and they have shared it early
( wont be officially signed off until at least jan 20) .....they were u ndr pressure snd had to provide something posative. ...just a thought really. But if so, maybe the original Oct. 19 contract is bigger with a humongous up front payment. Just letting my imagination get the better of me ...as that's all I have to go on at present.

I certainly got the impression this was a home made release. Obviously realised after sp slide that further detail required to try and reassure investors . However, only new bit for me was contract not yet formally received. Possibly January 20.

So the recent contract is expected to be signed in Jan 20. If so, two year roll out then begins.

One of the original attractions when I first got interested in CC was that it was not a one trick pony....its offering included smart electric meters, smart water, smart gas, smart lighting and the real big draw of everything else under the sun that fell under the umbrella of IOT. CC had many strings to its bow....scroll forward 10 years ....and CC are about electric meters .

As always lacking detail . Genus receive the order and CC recieve a LOI which in the past, have not been binding ...the time scales are also ambiguous ..is it fifteen months to completion of project or is it that project may start anytime within next fifteen months, and from what date does year one of the two year income protection begin.......all this dictates the timing of any income. Looks like that's it until after Christmas now as far as orders go...

It's worth noting that both Larsen Trobro and El Sewedy / iscramento ! Have Saudi smart meter manufacturing facility's in country.

Just read the UAE link you posted. It was dated 2017 and related to silver Springs in Dubai particularly. The link I posted this morning related to Saudia Arabia ...so we do not know at this stage who has been awarded the contract and who they are partnered with...its along shot but as of yet ..not revealed.
