They must be aiming to complete the entire contract this year....ready for later.

This from just a few months ago.

This figure makes the initial 500,000 thousand look rather insignificant with a further 2 million meters being fitted..but no mention of being activated here.

Look at the size of the buyers purchases compared to the size of the shares from the few sellers.....strange imo. If a leak ,and it's posative I would expect larger buys going through...not the other way round....the buts must be from existing investors toping as they are so small.most buys are from what seems like private investors ....unless this is an organised event. Any real news should out today or to tommorrow. Imo

It looks like CC have certainly spent some money in Iran.

This is the current state of play in India regarding financing of smart meters.
What I would like to know is whether the tenders and solution providers for each project has been selected ...or will this need to happen after the cash is released.

Forget about Pre payment meters ...what about a pre payment contract. CC are going to have to land a few big contracts in the next few months and these contracts will need to be revenue enhancing from day one , if they are going to move this share price in the right direction...... a near 15% drop today and its only mid day ( with a 4% spread) and that was on news that was expected e.g. Iran etc. ....there's no room here for any more negative or bad news.....imagine the SP reaction to any unexpected news!

The 35 million meter initiative comes directly from the Indian Gov. UDAY scheme and this number first mentioned back in late 2016 with a installation date of completion of end of 2019.....so I think that the manufacture and installation of ten times this number is more of a promotional aspiration .......it looks to me the original UDAY aspiration is just the first step in the larger overall target. I think the 3-4 year timeline is a very good device to keep the manufacturing industry focused on the Indian smart manufacturing dream....cheers Vas
