Not sure what to make of that massive order with NIK, years ago ..but I do remember it was to replace ZigBee in all of NIKs smart metering ZigBee offerings....

Tony. There's a quote by Capita that confirms that 30% of smelts 2 meters will need to be duel band.
"The current Comms Hubs have a single band 2.4 GHz HAN frequency and are known as Single Band Comms Hubs (SBCH) and should provide HAN coverage in approximately 70% of premises. For some buildings like blocks of flats or where walls are very thick, the smart meter can't communicate with the Comms Hub. So in 2019, a more sophisticated hub with a choice of frequencies will be installed. These are called Dual Band Comms Hubs. They use a HAN frequency of 868MHz along with the existing 2.4GHz frequency. Dual Band Comms Hubs (DBCH) are expected to increase coverage to 96.5% of premises. These hubs will enable millions more British homes to benefit from smart metering."

That's about a 500,000 increase of SM2 meters since 3rd Jan 19.....but this is for the total network.

Imperial can you work the numbers using the CAGR for sales at 62% each year, over a two year period. It looks to take CC to break even and profitability in 2020 y/e. Thanks Vas

Their research note dated 7th March 19 is very posative ( as have all previous ones, and as you would expect). Using some highly positive language such as " set for meter- Oric rise" etc etc ...even so they are pointing to FY20 before possible profitability.

Can Anyone explain to me what the "62% two year sales means " . Could this mean 20% year one and remainder year two ...if not then what does it mean. Cheers Vas

It's been nearly three years since CC & Enzen partnered together....and three years on it's uprisings that the e outcome of their partnership in Mysore is still being commented on as a success . It's not just the timeline that is amazing but also why this success has not been built upon and replicated.

It's interesting that thus tender looks to be for the rf chips only and that the actual smart meters and AMI system will be purchased through another yet another tender and also "When requested by DPDC the contractor shall be bound to integrate their RF module into NIC card to minimum 15(fifteen) meter manufacturer so that the meters of these manufactures can interface with the proposed system. The contractor shall not claim any extra money for this.

Looks like this tender is for 100,000 rf meters from a proposed 850,000 required.
Miscellaneous Cost:
The contractor shall provide all sort of goods/items / services which are not mentioned in the tender document but necessary to carry out the project. The price proposal of the tenderer shall be deemed to have included price for these sort of costing. The cost for operation and maintenance of smart meters, servers, data center,UCC and data connectivity for the implementation period shall also be deemed to have been included in the price proposal. Where necessary, the tenderer shall also bear the cost for new cable/ service wire / replacement of existing wire/ meter board, meter position relocation, additional neutral wiring etc. which are not included in the price schedule and shall be deemed to have included these sort of costs in the price proposal.
Supply of RF module/chip/NIC card with plug in architecture:Step by step, the contractor is required to provide in total 850,000 RF module/chip/NIC card with plug in facilitywith time when asked by DPDC. However, the contractor is required to supply 100,000 RF module /NIC card with plug in architecture against this tender. The contractor shall provide full support to DPDC or DPDC’s contracted meter manufacturers to integrate the RF module/chip /NIC card with plug in facilitywith smart meters and AMI system to be procured by DPDC in another tenderer. The contractor shall not claim any additional money for this purpose if such supports are sought by DPDC before completion of 3 years AMC period.
Submission of detail design to integrate RF module/chip/ NIC card with plug in architecture of meter manufacturer:
The contractor shall submit detail design to integrate RF module into NIC card of meter manufacturer. When requested by DPDC during the project period, the contractor shall be bound to integrate their RF module into NIC card to minimum 15(fifteen) meter manufacturer so that the meters of these manufactures can interface with the proposed system. The contractor shall not claim any extra money for this.
Integration with existing and upcoming system: The contractor shall be bound to interface the proposed system to following existing and upcoming systems of DPDC without claiming any extra money:
a. GIS
b. DASMS (Digitalization and automation of substation metering system)
c. SCADA
d. AMR/RMR system
e. Unified prepayment system
f. Payment gateway
g. HES and MDM of other companies currently being used in DPDC
h. Any other system related to AMI
Demonstration before mass production of meter:

Anyone heard any developments on this tender. Page 40 onwards are the qualifiers .....

"The tenderer shall fulfill the following requirements:
a) The tenderer or RF network provider or in case of JVCA, any partner shall have experience of successfully establishing RF communication network in at least 3 utilities across two or more countries covering at least 1 million end points/smart meters (cumulative) in last 5 years. Out of these contracts, at least one contract shall have contract amount of minimum 20 million USD and no. of meters installed shall be minimum 0.1 million.

The company's sp is worth 15% less today compared to yesterday....due to dilution. What's the sp suppose to do .....
What the sp does between now and the FDA meetings news release is something else. But we know whatever the sp at that time, if positive news there will be further dilution.
In the short term view it's all about the percentage gain in share price between then and now, minus the percentage of the next dilution....there's a lot of moving variables here, non of them certain .....

It may be a mistake to over analyse this share....there are a number of unknowns as we ALL know...imo ...it's either going to be a success with a clear, achievable path to a FDA award ( unknown timeline) or it will not. Whatever price you invest in at this moment in time has the same risk of failure imo .....but has plenty of share price appreciation if it comes good, as we all hope.

I'm also surprised the company did not have funding sorted at an earlier, higher price ...ready for the expected FDA approval...... they are obviously gambling on the share price being much higher on clarification in June.

Hi Over. My wake up call was after the sp collapse late 2017, radio silence for weeks until after New Year followed by the January 18 trading statement RNS ...announcing the big contract ( or whatever it was) Been delayed...they didnt menton we would be still waiting in mid 2019... that didn't sit well with me...I may be a fool, but won't be treated like on.
