Looks like this tender is for 100,000 rf meters from a proposed 850,000 required.
Miscellaneous Cost:
The contractor shall provide all sort of goods/items / services which are not mentioned in the tender document but necessary to carry out the project. The price proposal of the tenderer shall be deemed to have included price for these sort of costing. The cost for operation and maintenance of smart meters, servers, data center,UCC and data connectivity for the implementation period shall also be deemed to have been included in the price proposal. Where necessary, the tenderer shall also bear the cost for new cable/ service wire / replacement of existing wire/ meter board, meter position relocation, additional neutral wiring etc. which are not included in the price schedule and shall be deemed to have included these sort of costs in the price proposal.
Supply of RF module/chip/NIC card with plug in architecture:Step by step, the contractor is required to provide in total 850,000 RF module/chip/NIC card with plug in facilitywith time when asked by DPDC. However, the contractor is required to supply 100,000 RF module /NIC card with plug in architecture against this tender. The contractor shall provide full support to DPDC or DPDC’s contracted meter manufacturers to integrate the RF module/chip /NIC card with plug in facilitywith smart meters and AMI system to be procured by DPDC in another tenderer. The contractor shall not claim any additional money for this purpose if such supports are sought by DPDC before completion of 3 years AMC period.
Submission of detail design to integrate RF module/chip/ NIC card with plug in architecture of meter manufacturer:
The contractor shall submit detail design to integrate RF module into NIC card of meter manufacturer. When requested by DPDC during the project period, the contractor shall be bound to integrate their RF module into NIC card to minimum 15(fifteen) meter manufacturer so that the meters of these manufactures can interface with the proposed system. The contractor shall not claim any extra money for this.
Integration with existing and upcoming system: The contractor shall be bound to interface the proposed system to following existing and upcoming systems of DPDC without claiming any extra money:
a. GIS
b. DASMS (Digitalization and automation of substation metering system)
c. SCADA
d. AMR/RMR system
e. Unified prepayment system
f. Payment gateway
g. HES and MDM of other companies currently being used in DPDC
h. Any other system related to AMI
