the sp fall here to try and judge when it will bottom. I have bought £20k today, so hopefully I have got it right. I last got out of GFRD at about £14.50. It is basically a good company which has run into some stormy weather and which I think is now out of the woods. Plus I always liked the chunky dividends!

The copper stock at LME seems to have a regular saw shaped profile between about 200,000 and 350000 tons, while COMEX has flattened out after a rise. I agree that the price of copper overshot in its recent fall, but don't expecct it to go up too much in the near future. Kaz may have a bit more legs in it, so I am holding for now

I also missed 458, but have not sold when I could in the low 450s. I wonder if i shall regret it? I have been lucky with CEY this time - I have not been so good with turning points in tha past. There is also the question of when to sell there as well. I am also retired but my money is now in an ISA as I have a good occupational pension so didn't go down the SIPP route

Seems likely to be a shorter. After all problems in China is hardly news. Why now? having said that my view is that copper will not recover until next year

Oh no!!! I got in at 432. My self respect is in tatters. I feel so foolish to have left it so late. I must make an appointment with my therapist. By the way, I got back into CEY in a small way yesterday. Have I called the bottom? We shall see... I usually get it slightly right, so perhaps we have a little way down to go yet. Have you got a target price for KAZ??

for a while but got in again this morning as I believe it is oversold. I will probably not stay in long as I think the copper price is flaky and likely to remain so over the summer. I intend to take a little profit soon. 2018 will be a good year for KAZ and I hope to be back in to benefit

If there is a further drop I will be back in to profit from whatever is actually going on here. Shame I missed the 116 spike a little while ago. I have read the other discussion boardss and nobody seems to have a clue why this one is moving suddenly just now

It's ex divi today so you can expect a drop of the amount of the divi - 36p. It has dropped more than that which is also quite normal as shares tend to acquire momentum and people forget to cancel their stop losses when the divi is due. A 1540 finish would indicate continued confidence in the share as this would be a drop equalling the divi

in LME warehouse stocks yesterday - two days in a row! the levels themselves are not particularly high in historical terms, but that certainly is a very rapid increase and may continue to affect prices.

may be explained by a very sudden increase in LME warehouse stocks from 196K tonnes to 236 K tonnes just yesterday. Comex stocks have been increasing steadily in the last month but have been more than offset by LME drops until yesterday. Anyone know where all that copper came from? Given that there are number of strikes around the world at present, suppressing production, this rise seems odd, although I think one of the links below mentions increased Chines output. Any thoughts guys?

continue their fall this month. The price will rise and fall on a daily basis, but the fundamentals are pointing to a tightening of supply which will lead to a long term price rise. Looking at the 6 month chart, the trend still looks upwards although there is a slight flattening. If you are holding there looks to be no reason yet why you should not continue.
