this afternoon could still see us over the 7p mark. This second rally is in some ways stronger as it is occurring as the dollar recovers slightly from it recent qownward trend. In Euros and £ we are back at the top of the morning peak alreadty.

have been following an interesting pattern since last autumn with peaks at about 350k and troughs at about 200k and an cycle of 2 to 3 months between peaks (and troughs). The copper spot rose to a range between $2.50 and $2.70 once this pattern established, but doesn't follow the stock [attern particularly closely. This pattern is unlike anything in the previous 5 years. Any intepretations?

Hi Tucson, saw your post on SXX and replied. Another thought - have you considered CEY, currently very undervalued - I run a simulation on it and have it at a P/E of 9 - also a good dividend payer. A longer shot would be POG which has a large upside, but may be vulnerable to manipulation from a major shareholder (high risk high gain option). I didn't want to go on at length on the SXX board as they get very shirty if you go off their monomaniac subject

I think KAZ has some legs in it yet on this upward leg of the copper price. 550 would be reasonable, but 600 might be pushing it. Longer term, no doubt we will get there, but if you are trading it might be optimistic. I have bought £20k as a medium term trade. I have made a little profit from two recent trips to the KAZ cash machine. Buy in the 400s, sell in the 500s, until it doesn't work anymore.

Copper was up overnight. I shall watch your prediction with interest. My strategy with KAZ is to buy it in the 400s and sell it in the 500s. Exactly where in the 400s and 500s is based on a complex mix of avarice, panic, how my other investments are doing, the price of copper, and keeping in mind that I will want a good holding here in 2018/9 when I think we should go well over 600. Day to day, KAZ may as well be a butterfly blown by the breeze

this morning, I found it impossible to get on this page of the LSE site - there is a gap from about 10 to 12noon in the comments. I posted comments on CEY and SXX to alert people to the situation. I managed to sell at 282, but was a bit frustrated that I could not inform people more fully on this board as the s**t was hitting the fan
