We have a trading update scheduled Dodge. End of the month. The framework contract has a deadline for December 5th. So not totally lined up. The share price now is totally irrelevant to what it will be once we get some mega orders in. The contract is asking providers who are at the forefront of innovation in the diagnostics industry to say what they can do. Hopefully no more Randox contracts. Again doesn't really make any difference with this kind of scale required. About 125 million capacity tests per year. Maybe x £5.00 average per test for revenues. £625 million per year turnover. £400 million gross profit. X3 earnings for mc is £1.2billion. £5.00 sp not so pie in the sky by next Summer.

Johnson says the Liverpool pilot will pave the way for bringing in new, fast tests by enabling better targeting of asymptomatic cases. He is not saying the tests used in the pilot will be rolled out. The pilot is to assess how we will go about a mass testing programme- for example, how we best improve tracing to support people to stay at home and thus interrupt the virus; potentially what will it tell us about the experience of health workers, teachers, care workers?
The mass testing programme will be much bigger than any of the orders that have been made now to support the pilot. Sir John Bell was also talking last night about 5 or 6 tests that they believe will be 'a gamechanger' (though he says he hesitates to use the word now). They are talking about testing a million a day in the new year.

I think our old troll Sam Pullcox is back. His puerile humour is such that he comes up with a few aliases that are either a bit schoolboy 'dirty' or just really offensive- some racially offensive names were being used in the Summer.
I don't think the trolls are writing for most of us because they know we got their number. They consistently 'misunderstand ' getting dates wrong, getting partnership agreements wrong, implying that they aren't aware that we are one of the leading diagnostics companies in the UK and have come into covid from a standing start- like most others but we are definitely ahead of the pack. They are writing for new investors hoping to scare them whenever we get a drop. They know as well as most of us know where this is going. The sad knobjockeys are hoping for a lower entry point so they can finally think about bringing their £81.50 back in.

Some knobjockeys de-ramping here saying Mologic don't have an antigen lft. Then saying Mologic won't follow through on the agreement with ODX to manufacture. Lol! So transparent.
1. Mologic have an lft antigen test in the final stage of evaluation and verification now.
2. They will be working with ODX to manufacture it. Tech transfer due in a couple of weeks. Manufacture to start before Xmas. ODX will be ready to sell under their own brand 'Visitect' from December/January.
3. Johnson is talking about British companies being lined up to supply these tests in the context of a plan for testing the whole UK population regularly. More and more government front bench are talking about these plans routinely- it's happening. There's no other UK based company with a product at this stage of development. Newsnight were talking to Jeremy Hunt last night he was saying 1 million tests a day by February. PM (the programme) on R4 saying the same yesterday at 5pm.
4. MMs getting L&G out before big news . They sold out very early from NCYT too. Nowt to do with the price of bread. They sold their investment arm to Fidelity- they are cashing in to focus on the day job.
ODX will sell everything they produce. 2 million tests a week. Investors can buy or sell- we will all do what we think is best. If you're selling to trade I think it's too late to get in lower. Don't be like Dibs, itsallagame, et al. Don't clog up the board wailing and pretending you don't know all the good news, which is going to explode like fireworks going off every day as soon as it starts for weeks and weeks, and maybe months.

Dibs, I'm getting a dim recollection of you from ages ago. De-ramping. Floating around bbs for stock you aren't in. Then you get in for a nanosecond and sell after 5 minutes and then start de-ramping hoping to get back in again at a penny less. Yawn.

Dibs, don't you know the basics about your own investment? ODX have an MOU with Mologic for their antigen lft which Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine have advised their local press they are dashing through verification so that they can be used in mass testing.

Liverpool School of Tropical medicine are working with Mologic and Genedrive for a fast antigen test. Final paragraph (in italics).

'...a few weeks '..leaves plenty of time for Mologic to get the job done. I didn't mention antibody tests. CK said Mologic will complete evaluation and verification of the antigen test this month, followed by the tech transfer to ODX and manufacturing to begin at the end of November and commercialisation thereafter.
If not us, who else is already in trials? ODX will have known for weeks which test the government really want. As will the whole industry but Mologic were already there with a poc antigen test ready for assessment.

The Guardian live is covering Johnson's speech. He's saying cheap fast tests are coming on stream in the next few weeks and will be used to test whole towns and cities or for specific circumstances, such as to allow hospital visits (a partner attending the birth of a child for example).

CK told us we have got a new ll. Hopefully we will find out who before long. There's no mystery why L&G sold. Much bigger business decision than their ODX investment. They sold their investment arm to Fidelity.
And in the last few days we've seen a couple of buys over £125k and several over £200k. So this has got to bounce back soon. I don't like the way Aim is set up either. But we know where this is going.

Ekxoc, RTC haven't got any antigen tests. The lfts may not be ready yet. Either way we don't know the answer to the question.

Fairdealer, I agree and I disagree. Lol. Risk assessment is also by definition a speculative activity if you are putting your money on it. But yeah mindless ramping or deramping is not a good look.
I agree this is a ruinous path that we appear to be taking. But there are signs of light in the tunnel. Redcar are taking part in a mass test of their whole population from November. It's an experiment to see if they can find everyone who is symptomatic and asymptomatic and support them to isolate as necessary. If it works they can roll it out and we can move away from the nationwide sledgehammer to find nuts approach that we are currently engaged with. And we can start going to the pub sometimes along with other joys!

We don't know whose test it is Ekxoc. They have imported 2 million from China so it could be those for all we know. It could be Mologic's- they have been in trials. It doesn't matter. It's a chance for them to try out the approach. It won't preclude us selling asap into this market for mass testing. Anyway I am repeating myself.
