There will be an increase in the focus on the mass testing strategy now that it's firmly on the table that this is going to be the exit strategy for restrictions. ODX has 5 tests. 2 antibody poc, lft and 1 poc,lft antigen 10 minutes saliva and 2 Elisa lab based tests- 1 is antigen and 1 is antibody. So not necessarily antibody focused. They will produce according to demand and value. See the first investors presentation.

The government are under massive pressure now with Andy Burnham refusing to co-operate with level 3 restrictions for Greater Manchester. Sadiq Khan and others calling for a circuit breaker over half term, for 2 weeks. He wants the time to be used for getting test and trace in order. Interesting.

Afafaman, there's no proof that immunity wanes. Every new study on immunity just finds an increasing length of immunity. Obviously the evidence base can only be as long as the time the virus has existed amongst us. Most scientists are now saying it probably lasts at least two years and potentially decades as is the case for other SARS-COV-2 virus'. Initially they thought it could be waning after 3 months. Early tests were not necessarily measuring the right antibodies and some are less visible. The T cells stimulate the B cell immune memory which reactivates antibodies. So whether they are visible or not they are still there. 24/37 million have had it twice according to records so far. They are externalities. The WHO Chief scientist gave a CNN interview yesterday. She said 'at least 7 months, probably 2 years'. This reflects several new studies from the US.
