News due now- contract for ABC19 Oct 2020 14:56
Quite a lot of news due now. As I see it:
1. Contract. Either 7 million tests at 1.50 each fulfilling the early agreement though at a higher first order. Or 1 million tests at 10.00 each. More in line with, though still a discount from what government paid NCYT. Either way better than original assumptions for this first order. ODX will be supplying 25%. Implications for commercial sales come with the next element of the contract
2. Commercial sales for RTC. Retail prices £13-16.00 for pharmacies, and dentists. Professional distribution agencies already set up. So price for ODX to be advised but again, much higher than the government rate if that is £1.50. If it's £10.00 then guessing our cut could be £5-6.00. My assumption is based on the fact that ODX were assuming £5.00 for some of the Mologic tests. See first investor presentation. If government want them to dedicate resources to supply a good proportion of their capacity to this test they will have good negotiating power on the opportunity cost at anything lower.
Of course if the Mologic antigen poc test is part of the consideration then it is in ODX interest to ensure a very good level of capacity for this towards the Moonshot ambition for 3 million tests a day/week depending on which media outlet we believe if any. The Heathrow market is expected to be high volume and high value. Low levels of air passenger numbers are still in the millions daily outside of national lockdown periods. The point of tests for air passengers is to open up the industry again so, go figure.
Very exciting times! Gla. Oh by the way- another mate of mine asked for a tip for a £20k investment yesterday. Love her loads- ODX was my tip.
