The RNS announced for today's investors presentation specifically states that they will update us about validation. It's on in less than 2 hours. Mms will take your money if you want to give it to them. Buys are double the sells and the volume is properly balanced. The update will be comprehensive as it says. Sales expectations and product development. Are we going in with AVCT as they have asked us to? If not the only reason will be is that it will be more valuable for us to retain more of the 100 million capacity we have for Mologic point of care antigen tests being trialled at Heathrow and/or our own brand Visitect Omega antibody test. And/or the RTC for commercial and government sales. I agree - time to buy if you aren't in. Mad to sell. Hold if you are already in because the only way is up.
ODX will sell everything they produce. Demand will exceed capacity. Some of the best tests in the world in a time of a pandemic.

Double buys to sells. ABC19 available to order for pharmacies, dentists etc. Mologic antigen tests being set up for larger Heathrow trials this month by the looks of things. Visitect Omega branded antibody tests will be next to market. ODX will be first off the block for high accuracy, cheaper, accessible, point of care, new generation tests. The Telegraph has an opinion piece about testing before and after flying. The FT says only half of us will get the vaccine because it might over stimulate a reaction in healthy younger people. Elsewhere it also says that 'long covid' may become the bigger worry and there's no confidence about a vaccine this year. Looks like covid tests will be around for a long time.
Today's presentation will give us the heads up on validation, sales, development and priorities for ODX 5 tests. Very exciting.

They have told us in the RNS what will be in the presentation. They will be talking about validation, expectations about sales and product development. Last time they also told us about pricing assumptions and new product development. We didn't know about the 5th test (lft antigen) and they told us about additional capacity. It's also a chance to ask questions.

And the prize for best ramp of the year is shared between Boris Johnson, PM and Johnson's favourite newspapers, the Sunday Mail (commitment and preparations for 3 million tests a day) and the Sunday Telegraph (plans for mass testing are further ahead than previously thought). Lol.

The 'proof' is in the report itself. Which you just quoted. I am just explaining what the reference 95-98% in brackets means. Erring on the side of kindness in case you genuinely didn't understand.

You would be hilarious Mikodox if you weren't so sad. Moving from a consistently positive and clearly intelligent poster to someone who willfully misunderstands and manipulates. I said that the specification clearly states the standard deviation ( about 95-98%). It is a statistical term to allow for a margin of error. It means that they allow for a slight range to recognise that the sample size may not be exactly representative of the population. They have tested more than 800 people. They want to use the test for millions. So they allow for the fact that the sample cohort could be different than the whole population. It's a basic principle in research methodology.

Hey Vascular, no I don't think it's easy investing in winning stocks. You have to deal with a lot of nonsense which I would rather not do. You have to focus on the industry and keep up to date. That's my approach. I am well over 100% up. Your approach is just about trying to exploit anxiety and fear and trading every day. At some point the share leaves you far behind. So everyone chooses their own approach. I am just pointing out most people can see what you are doing and it's a real sad look. When you find a winner like this it's a rare opportunity. It's a set of coinciding opportunities actually. Hopefully the precise circumstances will never happen again but right now the environment is perfectly supportive to turn this SME into a FTSE 350 contender. We are in early. Exciting.

There's a fair few companies here and in the states looking at this. Mologic are a front runner by the look of things. They were included in the Heathrow tests and it looks as if they will be in the larger one in October. If you don't reckon they will grow exponentially, don't invest. If you do. Invest. You will make a fantastic return within a few weeks and you will bag from here in a couple of months easily. Do some research and then decide if you want to believe a couple of bed hoppers, trying to knock a penny off the share or serious investors.

We don't fall short on sensitivity. The spec is 98% allowing for standard deviation 95.7-99.3 as you have just posted. So 97.7 is within the margin of error. Read the report. Ulster University are saying the RTC test is better than all of the comparators and meets a new 'gold standard ' not previously applied, which should now be applied. Why do you think Omega are showing off about it. Anyone would think you are deliberately not listening? I wonder why you would do that? Jesus.

Safy, yeah people trying to make an issue of the results. If we read the report we can see that the conclusion is that we should adopt the ABC19 test in preference to all the other tests currently in use because it detected antibodies after 140 days and it is the best antibody test. Omega published the findings in a handy chart yesterday afternoon.
We all need to be aware when people post why are they deramping their own investment? There were 2 million pounds worth of buys on Friday. And 1 million sells. Some people see investment as a game of manipulation. They aim to sell at a peak for the day- this is impossible to judge so they inevitably get it wrong. Then they start immediately deramping. We call them out so they turn up at the weekend sometimes with a new alias hoping to try to inspire a sell off. Very sad way to make a living. The best way to invest is to keep up with the news on the industry you are in and on the fundamentals of your stocks. Pick a winner to start with obvs. Sell when you want your money or when you think the stock has achieved it's potential.
It's a hassle because better to focus on fundamentals and news not trolls and derampers but good to reduce their oxygen now and then.

Yeah. The Ulster report is a preliminary report. I can imagine a couple of Sunday papers running with it. Unless that's eclipsed by coverage of anything Han**** says today on testing. Then Shapps on Wednesday telling us about the Heathrow trials. Whatever we find out on Monday. At the last investors briefing we found out about the antigen poc test that we are partnering with Mologic to manufacture for them. So they will deliver on everything they have said they will tell us about- validation schedule, expectations about sales, priorities...

We are one of 3 tests being trialled at Heathrow. One of the 3 tests has failed standards with only 83% sensitivity. So there's Mologic's 10 minute antigen, point of care, saliva test (we are working on this with Mologic) or Genome's 30 minute test still in the game.
John Holland Kaye, Heathrow CEO is very keen to get testing linked to air travel to reduce quarantine. Absolutely massive if this comes off. They are saying £150.00 additional cost in the papers. I'm not convinced that will pan out. But guessing at least £15.00 even if they sell for £40.00.

Tories are at their party conference. Telegraph says Grant Chapps will make an announcement about plans for airport testing in the coming days. John Holland Kaye, boss of Heathrow has been in discussions according to the piece.

The one coming up on Monday promises to tell us where we are on MHRA approval for the RTC, developments and verification of the Mologic antigen test which is being trialled at Heathrow, and preparations for commercial distribution for the Visitect Omega antibody test. Those are all lateral flow, point of care (home use) tests. We also have 2 lab based tests. We will produce according to demand and we have increased capacity. In short the presentation is extremely likely to be very valuable.

Totally out of date. We've raised £11.7million subsequently which has been spent expanding facilities and production capacity. We will have capacity for 100 million now on our own.

Did anyone else take a look at the sharebuyers article today? It's from a new ODX press release. Better than the RNS. It compares our results to that of all the big boys in the playground, lol. We come out on top. Such a phenomenal achievement for a small company with a great deal of expertise to become a key player in one of the most important new industries (diagnostics) in the world in a few months. Once in a lifetime opportunity for many of us.
