Plenty of new investors are quite capable of getting up to speed. They can read the RNS', read the papers (pandemic, new generation of tests urgently needed) and put 2 and 2 together. We'll make sure the pointless, useless and normally irrelevant contributions of trolls get called out don't worry.

Then, if you have some useful information or insights about your investment other investors might like to hear from you. You won't affect the share price with pointless deramping.
Some of the tests you prats keep posting about are still reliant on specialised equipment and trained staff. That's why we are behind schedule with track and trace. We can't meet demand that way. This firm is largely focused on new generation tests. Point of care, cheap, high accuracy and ready to go.

PHE Paediatric report. Have a read. Published today on the PHE site. Key points for us imo: 10.6% of kids across 5 cities in 136 schools and 12% staff in schools have had it. They haven't caught it from each other. The high prevalence is related to community infections. The report says they have caught it from parents, in nearly all cases where the parent was a key worker in health services. They aren't catching it again. So very good on immunity. The report says it's next study 'Rapid19' (is the clue in the name?) wants to find out (amongst other things) if it can test school children with a rapid antibody finger print test to assess whether they have cv19. I don't know if that is their typo or if they think they have a supersensitive antibody test that can show that? The white paper suggests we can establish earlier in the infection if there are antibodies so maybe they mean us? Also it really does point to the need for mass prevalence studies.
Most people who get very sick and are in mortal danger are very old or have underlying health issues or are obese or are in health worker roles or in jobs where they are exposed to an awful lot of sick people. Much better track and trace, support for those isolating to stay at home even if they are on low incomes or not working. We may be more resilient than we think and we won't know definitively unless we do some serious mass testing.
White paper. Great read but I don't see that the wider market will respond to it's claims because the RTC firms have an obvious vested interest. But key points for me- 1. We need to have antibody testing to save the airline industry; 2. to know if we've had it because we will almost certainly have immunity if the virus behaves like other cv disease, and a repeat of the science that most investors on this board already know having kept up to date with the emerging concensus;
3. we need antibody tests it to help roll out all the vaccine trials to check whether the vaccines in development produce antibodies. There are nearly 100 vaccine trials (last time I looked- could be more now). 4. Our test is very nearly as accurate as the best lab tests and meets very high standards and crucially it is fast, accessible, cheap and efficient to distribute with instant results available.
Rishi Sunak's speech. 'Living is more than existence'. He defended 'eat out to help out'. He said we know more and more about the virus and we are still learning. We have to find a way to live with it. He told us that he had already confirmed £12.6 billion for test and trace and to prepare for mass testing. So does that imply much more to come? I think it does. How else will we 'learn to live with the virus'?

I expect the PHE paediatric report on cv19 will have an impact when the implications become evident. Ditto the white paper.

I am going to read the white paper and the PHE surveillance report. It was published today as well.

The white paper that the RTC members are tweeting apparently says we need an antibody test to assess immunity in the vaccine program. I need to have a read.
The PHE surveillance report says 10% of schoolchildren in the 5 cities they surveyed had antibodies. They want to examine whether using a rapid finger prick test for antibodies in the next survey will help them diagnose who has cv19, faster. Not who has had it. Who has it. Unless it
is their typo. I suspect not.
It's higher than the national prevalence at 10%. Implications are that it could have spread further than we knew and more of us have immunity.
The data in the study a few days ago to early September said 8%.

They are starting ' rapid19' mass surveys for schoolchildren. They have questions including 'Can we use rapid antibody finger prick tests to diagnose school children more quickly for cv19?'
