Yesterday Johnson referred to new tests in his speech to the nation. But he said 'they weren't quite ready'. The RTC is the only new generation test that could be seen as nearly done. And the only thing that is still work in progress is /or was the BBI app. If that's intended to link to the NHS app then they have cracked the problem of slow turnaround at least as far as this test is concerned.

Would make a bigger impact if they put the MHRA approval out at the same time as they launch the app I think. It means the conversation will be about the efficiency of tracking the virus and assessing our growing immunity in real time.

Disappointment on the sp completely outweighed by the news we've had. Wonder if the mms are trying to get Sneller out asap?
1. MHRA published an antibody test spec which reflects RTC levels of accuracy and accessibility for home use.
2. MHRA and SAGE and Johnson recognising antibodies give immunity.
3. Restrictions needed to avoid lockdown and the unfolding situation will be actively under review for up to 6 months (which can be done effectively with antibody tests todetermine the spread precisely)
4. The Bank of England have downgraded forecasts if we don't get out of this. Which means it won't be long before the wider market start seeing ODX as a relatively safe and valuable investment.
5. ODX pr video showing a good deal of confidence for national and international markets.
I am not celebrating the bad news. I hate social restrictions on my own behalf and on behalf of my family and friends. But I do see antibody tests as a way out. Once we start using them the opportunity for strategic planning to recognise hotspots and safer regions will help us to keep living and working and protect those who are in high risk areas and workplaces much more efficiently. Especially if it can tie in with the app. Smart solutions will open up and we can get away from this blanket approach we have relied upon so far.

Itsallagame, you never believed anything would happen in the first place. You've deramped this share aimlessly and without substance for months. You had a chance to jump in when this was in the 40s. And still you were hoping for a better price. Sigh.

Mms took it down this morning on low volume though slightly higher buys than sells. Then small investors went and then it created a bit of a tree shake. Exactly what they did to SNG a week before they announced their results. Took it down from 46p to 35p. And on the Monday morning it opened at 80p, £1.00 within 2 minutes and £2.20 close of play.

For those selling now I hope you are very happy with your profits. I'm sure they are g8. Fast forward a day, Monday or mid week next week when we have had MHRA approval, clear acknowledgement in one of the outstanding reports that the RTC self test went very well, clear acknowledgement of the SAGE viewer at least 4 months immunity, the sales order from the government (huge), and an agreement allowing commercial sales. And try not to think of your tears.

New restrictions. Continue to expand testing 'massively'. Avoid second lockdown. May need additional restrictions in some places.
We will achieve 500,000 tests a day by the end of October.
More subtley, there's an acknowledgement that antibodies indicate immunity.
No promise to extend furlough. Business loans are the extra funds which have been separately offered.
Implications for increasing seroprevalence studies are all over this.
New test kits will be available for schools.

Regulator I am a Labour party member. I am sure I have no more love for the Tories than you do. If you think that he isn't absolutely aware of progress with the RTC I just don't know what to say.
Except that he certainly does.

Feel sorry for Labour. I can see Johnson saying something now or tonight about credible plans for up scaling.

Tco, no there aren't any other antibody tests that fit the criteria that are UK based and ready to go. The others fail the specificity and/or sensitivity as I am sure you know.
