Gist of it is that 'eagle-eyed investors ' on the LSE board spotted the contract. Not yet but probably will be the value of a contract.
In years to come when you explain to your grandchildren how you first made a lot of dosh you can say, well there was a geezer called JAdam...

Or whatever it's called. I am taking time out of my busy housework schedule to let JAdam know that he's found fame at last (or once more I don't know). Sharesmagazine have described him as 'eagle eyed investors '. So pretty much a royal 'we'.

Can we change the header now please? I mean as everyone is saying it's great news. Until we get an RNS we may not see the rise related but there a buy in today for over £100k so we should stay blue - especially if we play nicely;)

JAdam, I am just focused on my investment chuck! I am pointing out that if Johnson mentions a plan for antibody testing as part of the Moonshot plan as he did last good it would be helpful. Your personal view on whose fault the global pandemic is- whilst absolutely hilarious- will not effect the share price.

It's a contract and it has been awarded to the RTC. The government will draw down on it over a period of time. We used to get these when I worked at a consultancy. It gives the company security and it means they commit capacity as necessary. You then get specific draw downs as you work together as client and contractor to define the exact requirements. So for example they could want x number of tests delivered to schools in Manchester over a set period or to care homes in Liverpool or to a number of universities depending on where the outbreaks occur.

I wonder if he will soften the blow for Manchester with some recognition of the pillar 3 and 4 mass testing for antibodies. Burnham is basically saying that the evidence on these restrictions isn't convincing. Johnson did feel the need to look forward to our next steps at the previous press conference didn't he?
This order will materialise properly no worries. My guess is they want the immunity report before they release the MHRA. I also think both are already ready to drop. My guess is that the government are holding onto everything until a big tranche of tests are actually ready to go out the door. They want to make sure the narrative turns positive for them. Abingdon are tweeting for more jobs again. Sales and production and technical support for an app to link to test and trace.
Pretty obvious what the writing on the wall says.

An RNS will be out soon. Then we should see another good pick up in the sp. Once the immunity report lands this will be talked about on every news channel. So now is a good time as any to get a top up in imo. Unless you are pursuing the classic new investor strategy of 'buying high' lol.

The press story is relevant to investors because it's telling us what the plan is from government. It won't directly affect the sp from this level but it gives new investors a sense of what is to come. As many other contributors have said today we know that this will come good. Only traders need to worry about the daily fluctuations. Mms taking from shaky hands ready to make a nice profit by tomorrow or the day after I expect.

Shapps has made a speech today saying he's in talks with several companies to this end. The aspiration is for a test and trace system to be in place by early December. Looking good for our early Christmas present.
Distributors taking orders for the ABC19 test. Sales team recruitment in process at Omega. Better returns for the RTC test from government and even better returns are predicted by ODX for commercial sales. No disrespect for any project manager who sits in on conversation about contracting but I suspect the company CEO might just have the edge on which way the wind is blowing. Regulator if you are working for government you would be precluded from sharing any such information by law. As I am sure you know.
