Yes - Staverly actually owns the shares whereas Oasis has NEVER owned them - they always use Total Return Swap - it's unclear who the swop is with but - given it's 11% of the company - Schroders would be the obvious guess.

I think it's based on a hunch that a market crash is coming soon ... Many commentators suggesting an AI bubble has inflated the overall market..... Many other commentators disagree though.

Would Donald Trump really want to preside over a stock market rout / collapse - can't see it myself - and Ocado is so oversold and beaten down - it's not going to fall as much as the many inflated AI stocks anyway!

@aim - I loaded up at Ocado last Friday when it was in the very low £1.90s - but it's looking like a good momentum trade this morning as it recovers the ground it lost last week.

Still an amazing bargain at a shade over £2 though

.... Difference .... If you sell at £10 when we are bought out by Private Equity or Amazon (depending on who you listen too).

Short term SP will be influenced by market wide issues but surely this can't stay at 20p or less as the December update looms.

Everything looks good here - I topped up again at £3.04 this week and am back to 105,000 shares now and feel like I'm sitting pretty!

@sheltie - as you said the other day - this stock is highly played and not really appropriate for widows or orphans or long term holders.

It's been looking like it wants to test £2 for a few days now and I think they will get their way before we see any recovery here now ...

If yesterday's results from M&S can't move this - then I fear we are definitely heading lower in the short term!

@worraps - that is correct - the 161,097 purchase at 16:16 belongs to me - and it showed as a sell on LSE.

Will be interesting to see if this rallies (or sinks) over the coming days / weeks ahead of the next announcement

@savage - I couldn't disagree more re: forthcoming results - it's what we've all been waiting for .... FOR YEARS AND YEARS.

Assuming we are FCF positive (which it looks like we will be) and now we are winning highly profitable AI led BPO contracts using the new products and services - the foreward looking results should be great!

Still able to buy these at 20p old money when we are only a few weeks away from being so cash generative is beyond astonishing

... I've just topped up at £3.05 .... getting too cheap now and will buy more at £2.95 if we get there ....

Really good to hear that we are starting to win AI solutions business too as this is almost certainly high margin business ....

@escorter - I thought the video was extremely informative and it reminded me of an old adage "different strokes for different folks".

It was always pretty obvious that huge CFCs wouldn't be the only game in town just like huge hypermarkets aren't the only places where you can go to pick up groceries.

Having smaller CFCs (like smaller local supermarkets) makes eminent sense and with strong cost management should lead to quick profitability.

Having watched the video I was encouraged to buy more Ocado shares as I think they are onto something and are on the right track.

Obviously the market doesn't agree with me today - but over time I think they will see the benefits of this broader strategy

@aim - the days of winning large value BPO contracts that demand an RNS are long gone and, when you are LONG here you are fully aware of that fact

CPI has become a nimble - AI led - BPO technology company that has productised BPO solutions using Hyperscalers technology in a "cookie cutter" approach - so create the solution ONCE and then sell it many times over.

What this means is that we will win a lot of lower value (but highly profitable) contracts that don't need an RNS whereas previously we relied on large RNSable vanity revenue contracts that delivered low (or no) profitability.

The think is @aim - you are fully aware of all this - it's just that whilst you stand in platform £2.25 alone - you have selected memory failure too

@Marcus - I agree the £3.50.target is manipulation - and frustratingly - it's worked as the SP has been under pressure since that latest broker rating!

If it keeps falling then we could be in top up territory

@adam - I totally agree that £3.50 is laughable although I remember - back in the day - when new analysts would come along and actually suggest an SP lower than what we were at the time.

I still can't see the £2.25 (or £2.67) platform being visited again as we are only one solid event away from at least £4 now and only a few weeks away from trading update and FCF.

What I'm most excited about though is winning new contracts with the AI led BPO stack .... when they happens then the strategy will have been proven to be sound and we will be up and away.

All in my opinions - with 102,500 reasons why I need to be right!

@shorty - my comment was mainly towards @aim who has been on platform £2.25 for some time now.

My view is that this is stabilising now ahead of the next leg upwards - we had the brief dip below £3 a couple of weeks ago and it hasn't looked like it's going back there again recently.

What is most eye catching is the delivery and execution of the AI within BPO strategy and - one good win using this new technology is going to see this soar through £4 with ease.

Taking a small position at £3.30 as a hedge against a £4 breakout probably wouldn't be the worst share trading decision you'll ever make ....

But then I'm a "CPI faithful" whereas others (like @aim) are more "CPI traitors". 😀

Funny how all the current "non holders" keep posting how hedge funds are shorting this whilst - at the same time - willing it back to platform £2.25.

Outside of a black swan event (which Capita seems to have an knack of attracting) then this is continuing to print higher highs and higher lows ....

I think - looking back at Xmas 2025 - a £3.30 entry here would prove to be a very solid investment as the clues are already there ...

Probably sensible to be cautious but I don't think there is much to worry about here now and I can't see the train returning to the £2.25 platform now

@shorty - I think the £100m (to be added to debt) to get out of the evergreen contract (as mentioned by Staverly recently) is now known as is baked into the current price.

We know that Capita had cyber insurance as that was reported at the time and - anyhow - the majority of the ambulance chasing claims are going to get batted away anyhow.

Markets do look toppy and so many commentators talking about an AI bubble bursting cannot be ignored ....

However - this share is so undervalued and the execution of the turn around seems to be gathering momentum - I don't really see a huge market correction holding us back for long

Have we a cup and handle of the technical charts? Is that's what is driving this forward now?

Last time it was this perky it stormed through £3.40 in about 20 minutes!
