What a formulae… looking at this now 111m mcap with 369m shares and sp is just at 5 year highs.

Compared to MetaPlanet which trades at 5x Hodl this will be way below that. Obviously we won’t know the new multiplier until the coin is bought.

Someone mentioned short attacks. I agree that it won’t be long before, if not already, when those with giddy multiples are attacked.

It’s the peer comparison against the Hodl multiple that is one of the key aspects to selecting treasury stocks imo especially as some start to run away.

Another obviously is how aggressively they can raise, buy BTC and repeat, whilst staying under 3x which seems to be the market valuation assessment.

Coin is now exceeding in all these areas and I for one am having to keep readjusting my own assessment as this is pioneering investment territory!

Hi Borrowed…

I looked at AMOI, I wasn’t convinced they got the treasury model right yet of raise, buy BTC and repeat.

Looked like they just stuck a load of their operational cash into BTC!

I think it needs that second RNS for a treasure raise for the market to believe. But for sure if that’s the case then holding from 1m mcap could prove super lucrative!

On the treasury side I decided to sit out this COIN placing. Whilst I expect it to keep going I just decided against putting ‘new money’ in there. 22p seemed steep and so I am expecting a pullback. If so I may add if not doesn’t matter.

I have a few positions running atm and have been tipping trading profits into boring income. My preference being renewables, infrastructure and debt. Super dull!

The previous offer was for 48% of what you asked for across the spectrum. I think they just look and if say there’s 4m and they only need 2m then they half what everyone asked for.

That’s a guess though.

The offer is pretty straightforward on ii. Just go to corporate actions and follow your nose. Remember not to spend the Csh that you have allowed until the percentage they take is confirmed. So if you bib £1000 leave it. When they take say £500 then you can spend the other £500 and your pf will be showing the £500 in shares/cash as put aside.

You can try sending a limit order or breaking the trade up to smaller parts.

It’s not unusual to have NT to sell on these type of stocks. Sometimes it’s because of auction or you just have to try latter.

I usually buy an amount first and test liquidity before buying more. I tend to buy and sell in tranches to help with the average.

I am not too bothered here though as you are buying way below the recent director buys and the placing.

This story reminds me a bit of ROAD. Under the radar, revenues and EBITDA positive, directors buying, aquisitions then out of nothing the stock moved then sat then moved again.

As you know I sold concerned about suspension. But the bond RNS signalled to me that that was now unlikely as it wouldn’t wash having late results whilst seeking investors.

Now the results are out there is another window at least, and whilst it’s still risky, it’s much less risky than before.

If the bod fail this time then imo there will possibly be a sale as it will be clear they can’t deliver. A sale should also result in much more than 5p! But obviously we would prefer funding and development and a sp at multiples of today’s

I am thrilled that you made a few bob mate. That’s what these boards should be for. Sharing ideas to help each other.

Obviously I have no idea about your financials but if you are queasy in the slightest you should stay within what is acceptable for you. So I will answer from my own view.

COIN I have traded it selling to cover the placing, then buying the discounted placing shares and following that up with two more sales to give a 100% free carry. I thought that’s clever and I planned to do the same at the next placing.

However, with hindsight I should have kept all the shares and perhaps passed on the next placing.

I am now in a situation where I will likely buy the next placing and pay a higher price. Some people can’t bring themselves to pay more for a stock that they just sold. But that misses the point. If the news and sentiment changes swallow one’s pride and get on with it!

I am expecting COIN to go to 80p now that they have accelerated the buying. Secretly I expect over 100p but I also expect a big fall at some point before a recovery. It depends on investors appetite for the placings. Hence you really need to keep a low average.

So selling half could be a mistake but if you are over leveraged then just do it but be prepared to suffer the ‘if only’s!’

If I kept all my ARB shares from 4.5p to their £3 peak I would have had £2m! If only eh!

HEX The market will wake up soon. Two more drills, reserves update, production = offtake contracts and I think at a much higher price than $500/Mcf. But the details will be confidential for obvious commercial reasons. I expect £1 for HEX as early as next year if they aren’t taken over by then. Bigger players don’t like successful newbies. They want them to take all the risks and then buy them up!

I have tipped COIN, HEX and also SVML to family and friends. I only tip if I am pretty sure.

SVML hasn’t really moved yet but it will and I am still buying there expecting RIO to bid after their DFS in Q4. They just placed as well so have funds.

Another miner is AMRQ, Greenland gold and REE’s. They just had a reverse interest placing at 85p. That’s where insti’s offer money for stock as they can’t buy quantity on the open market! So AMRQ are well capitalised. They may go back to 76p before marching on at the end of year when nameplate gold should follow. I am a buyer.

There are many other good buys atm. However, most of mine are in boring divi payers as I manage our own pensions. But HEX has done so well it’s now my top holding even taking over SEPL where I bought upward from 80p! Yikes!

I tried to get 20000 at 19.75, had the count down on ii, thought I’d better check google then it went NT. Tried again for 10000, NT. Now they have moved it up to 20.25p.

So there’s good support at 20p.

Will look in again later as have other trades on.

Don’t know if anyone bought COIN.PL I tipped here the other week at 7p.

I sold half on a double (12p for me) doh!

Gonna buy more after the next raise so have to hold some cash

Wizz … got my eye on that one as a classic recovery stock and macro play. Fuel goes up airlines go down but with 20% of its fleet still awaiting maintenance due to Pratt and Witney it’s not burning fuel!

Should bounce as aircraft come on and also as it swaps out the old bangers for airbus.

Not for the squeamish but I have an entry and e it price in mind. And it can move either way very quickly so average in and average out!
