Glad we are aligned wrt the takeover of HEX albeit we seem to have different catalyst’s.
Anyone following my posts will be aware that I have always maintained Hydrogen will kick off the bidding war and let’s face it; Mali, the first Hydrogen well that is using geo Hydrogen energy to power a village is a long long way away from USA; as are the European new finds that are Monzon 1 in Spain and the recent finds in the Netherlands.
Europe are moving ahead in this space. As for the RoW, Hydrogen is still accidental!
Charles is absolutely bang on with the America first agenda wrt Helium. I and others concur as per all the posts about chips act, data centres, space expo etc etc!
I also say don’t be surprised to see a leftfield tariff on Helium Afterall nobody expected the 50% tariff hit on copper!
PI’s oftentimes (me included) make the mistake of looking at a sp and think that’s it has run its course at least for now.
Gosh, after all my experience I did just that with ALTN, had it in the ‘gun sights’ at sub 200p and sub 300p after the results. And do you know what put me off…. It was actually the BS I read in investor blog about how it had run its course and AISC timeline was overstated.
I spent ages looking for an investible goldie. I posted as much on Tecan. Found one that also had a quiet BB just like early HEX but then questioned my own logic. Looked again at 400p and thought now that’s surely it. I missed it, my own fault….now +600p and I tipped it again at 500p but was fully invested. Mostly here! lol!
Look, my experience is just that, sharing experience in the nature of a BB. I didn’t buy ALTN and leave it on the watchlist (with others, doh) as a lesson!
I am ok selling when a stock falls, or picking those near the bottom but I am not the best at chasing risers as I think I can do better elsewhere.
Well that’s an aside and a shared ‘learning point’. But the point is DYOR. Not Charles Archer and defo not Trek or any other pseudonym!
But after the disclaimer my point is HEX is at the ALTN 20p, and I am in the same camp as Charles expecting a t/o . However, we have different catalysts. But that’s great to know!
But all said I would prefer an 8p dividend at this sp to a bumper capital return!
Who knows!
But surely we can agree that this an exciting venture as derisked as it gets at this juncture it’s pretty much upside ahead of us!
Sat on my hands!
Usual caveats
