They have to follow the listing rules for London main market. The problem is when they don’t there is no action taken by the MAR against the company or its brokers. I have reported this before to the MAR when Acacia were selling ‘Woodford stocks’ and not telling the market. I told the MAR 3 times the first time they said they’d coach them then on the last time they told me that they didn’t have to respond to me!
It seems to me that the problem with London isn’t over regulation, the US is as regulated. It’s that the regulators here are a waste of time and don’t protect investors so the likes of TB and Peterhouse do wtf they want!
I will not be buying any stocks where Peterhouse is broker.
Here’s the guidelines. You can read in the notification thresholds and timings in the links. The difference is if the issuer is UK or non UK not speciffic to Jersey.

“(1) reaches, exceeds or falls below 3%, 4%, 5%, 6%, 7%, 8%, 9%, 10% and each 1% threshold thereafter up to 100% (or in the case of a non-UK issuer on the basis of thresholds at 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%, 50% and 75%) as a result of an acquisition or disposal of shares or financial instruments falling within DTR 5.3.1 R“
