Well imo many are missing the point by focusing on the ops update. The real news is the company aspirations compared to the interims.

They have a legacy of significantly discounted placings by ‘sht-house’ their house broker. It’s obvious this is a ‘stick with us RNS’ but another placing will follow.

20 December 2023 raised £6.1 million with 2,420,842,500 shares at 0.25p to drill Itumbula! Huge over run!

7 February 2024 raised £4.7 million. 313,333,333 shares at 1.5p. For working capital after Itumbula ‘came in’. Which I believe it has.

That placing is to fund the next stage. Which they still aren’t sure what it is. So how does that work?

‘31 December 2023 closed out pre-tax loss of US$1,064,747. The Company continues to be well funded. “

“31 December 2023 cash balance US$8.7 m.”

Imo they have mixed in the well funded narrative at end of Dec which was before the Feb placing.

They are saying in Dec they were well funded but not necessarily now.

Total loss is 1.38m for 6months to thats admin + min 3m in ops costs based on last 6 months.

So well funded until they do something operational, like Tai deeper or poss further testing on Itumbula.

Then what. A ramp in sp by shthouse before a significant pullback and then a placing.

Placings are fine if accretive but here it’s an unknown beast; it’s an exploration company. You just can’t hold and hug unless extremely lucky.

The company has to dilute to raise funds.

How it does that is here is by legacy Machiavellian trading behaviours that the FCA refuse to get a grip on.

That involves sounding out a placing to those in the know in advance to secure funds so they can forward sell, CFD, or unload stock in advance.

But a blind eye is turned on aim/small cap for ‘greater good’ of funding. So ostensibly funded by PI’s.

Directors have lots of skin in the game? Absolutely. But at each placing they get first dibs and later discounted options!

This is a trading stock not for emotional investors chasing ‘fools gold’. I know. I’ve been caught elsewhere!

For transparency I have sold and will likely buy back again later.

I am sorry to all but I invested here to help people and hopefully make a bit of profit along the way.

I didn’t realise that that involved hurting others with blatant unscrupulous trading patterns by the CEO to line his own pockets whilst putting out blatant contradictory RNS’s saying how undervalued the company was.

I am significantly underwater here now, but that is not the point. I was prepared to risk 100% of my investment here. But I do not expect to have to tolerate these behaviours!

Still. The sun will rise tomorrow just not on Mr Brown!

Na Bismarck, I sliced 16k shares just before the results; a move that has served me well in the past as results are oftentimes followed by a pullback. But this time I got caught! Jinx was inevitable!

Still onwards now to 200p and thankfully it was just a slice and I don't mind paying more to put them back in as this is sooo under the radar so no panic! Doh!

Yep it’s out there just need a CEO that is there to do deals rather than single mindedly grab shares. Look at RENX up 550% in a month. They use AI for improved kidney patient care.

Price will likey be 100p so a ten bagger in a month from 10m mcap. Shows how undervalued the sector is!

Just need our boss to get off his backside and publicise the companies strategy for starters. When was the last proactive he did?

I maintain we are sat on a potential gold mine here a genuine moonshot opportunity. Yet he has only just about held the backing of shareholders. TB needs to deliver like RENX or get someone in that knows the sector!

Hi Plutus,

I hope you are right but atm all we know is they have finalised the 2m loan and rolled up the debt into the first drawdown of the new loan.

Therefore they have no money.

The remaining debt can only be secured once they have at least 25m from the copper bond.

So atm the company better have a plan B which I have said all along should be a short term equity raise as no one is gonna give them anymore cash without revenue. The revs are pretty low royalties from Konnex.

This is because it’s all taken so long. 18months ago they had the cash to make the coupon repayments but now they don’t. For sure they haven’t wasted a second and are getting things operationally sweet.

But now the whole business is dependent on someone signing off 25m minimum. And accepting a repayments holiday on the bond or allowing them to pay one credit card off with another. Which whilst not impossible, as that’s what Riverfort have in effect done for one payment but it’s unusual for a bond albeit the bond will be secured to the assets.

That is also another risk. Whoever they get into bed with they need to make sure it’s debt only and no associated Machiavellian trading behaviours to claim the asset.

For sure it’s closer now but it’s still on a knife edge else they would have had the funds the time before last when they told us!

Whilst the copper price remains subdued they do have some macro tailwinds from rates. US 10years are down (a home for debt) and SOFR will logically follow.

So imo min Bond 25m, then Riverfort, then possibly just a small placing 2m ish as lower bond means lower coupon.

No Bond no Riverfort so a much bigger placing, possibly 5m + Riverfort should then step in 10m and if Bond still don’t land looking at another placing size depending on how well ops goes.

Another thought, the market thinks the hold up is with the bond holders. I don’t. I think it’s PXC looking for perfect and running it to the wire. Indeed if that is the case it explains the optimism around the finance coming through. Easy to blame an unknown entity numerous times when it’s been them all along!

Either way though this needs debt, they don’t have cash, they don’t want a JV but they have a great asset. Just time to pss or get off the pot!

Duke - announced a client top up. I still think placing with results there. Could be wrong but it would make a lot of sense to have cash to catch the change in interest rate cycle to loan out without having to add to debt. Well I guess that’s how they’d spin it and say lots of opportunities etc!

Pxc sing new 10m debt that is dependent on 25m debt landing from copper bond. It was a good idea but now it’s taken soooo long they won’t have the cash to make the coupons unless they are allowed to pay one credit card off with another. Watching but I am more cynical now because the bod have spun it for near 2 years ! Hence spent the coupon cash! I expect punters will pile in though. Just be careful imo and sometimes better to wait for financial repayment clarity even if that means paying more.

Cmcl - was a good little payer. Hit guidance but their ops costs has overrun on the expansion. Buy the dip there if you want a tuck away income paying goldie. No mention of divi cut but could come later, likewise a placing but they may be ok as it looks one off. I would time an entry as it’s a good management team. Not too many though eh it’s in Africa.

I am interpreting this as the repayment plan for the new principal will be the same as the existing terms for the current loan.

26.5/23 RnS 7m top up for 25.5m repayed in 17 quarterly payments of 1.5m. Now 14 payments left

10 m no payment in first year the 16 equal payments quarterly (16x625k), available for 5 years

RCF increased from 7m to 10m. Has to be paid in full within 2 years of execution. Can be mutually changed.

28m of debt on balance sheet.

I like the flexibility of the debt and also that we should be told if they use any of the RCF so that will mean they will have to tell us what it’s for.

It’s difficult to work out the interest rates but suffice to say getting debt finalised in this market is pretty good especially for HC’s. The 7m top up looks very good as in same terms as when rates were lower.

I don’t understand why they released the RNS before the debt has been signed off. I can only surmise that is literally a walk to the cashpoint!

I do think that we can take a lot of confidence from the fact that TXP sold an operational repayment plan to the banks. As there is no mention of collateral in a similar sense to miners with their licenses, albeit the debt is tier 1 it’s nonetheless a pretty good achievement.

Casca 2 cases and sidetracked. I assume that we are now waiting for flow tests on that. Or do they hook up then test any guys out there? Likewise I am loosing track of the naming conventions now! Tia
