Looks like the shorters have dug themselves a hole. Spent their ammo and the price is holding up with insti buying.

That’s a problem with shorting in the absence of other news. The price follows briefly but unless you keep selling stock to countenance the buying then you end up under water!

It may be a few more shorts being added that brought the price down as opposed to the well supported long term refinance news.

Some wild volatility but the price is holding up well recently as we claw our way back to £15!

I missed it Tro, was expecting a 20% bouncy but didn’t have trading cash free at the same time.

Hex has sucked me dry! Gonna have some nice profits there to tip back into income. But not yet eh!

Also reinvested some divi’s into DEC below 1100p. Just a small amount.

Some folk don’t realise when shorts have sold that’s it. They gotta sell more stock to move the price down! My charting has Dec going back up! So fk em! I’ve been right there more than the shorters!

Will watch LBE and UPL though, both I have traded before.

Mind out, imo UPL will need cash soon!

But if the price coincides with when I have free cash I will play but not chasing it as income is my priority.

TRR - I tipped here. I was in at 35p but sold to buy HEX. Any holders there it’s had a good run. I would be slicing now and look to feed back below 40p. Throw off a bit of cash and get the same number of shares back. If it takes off again you will still have stock.

I looked at this following the IPO, didn’t buy. I thought the tech was more akin to an excel pivot table and an ESG word search rather than AI.

Also imo there needs to be better vetting & governance which is difficult with big data.

I use chatGPT and Claude regularly for research and as a teaching aid.

Both oftentimes come back with incorrect data. And indeed if you ask both the same simple question you can get two different answers! Especially with historical dates.

I wasn’t comfortable with the risk management here in the vetting space. Not to say it’s not a good idea and won’t improve.

Also didn’t know how the market would react to the inevitable cash needs which to be fair they have done well.

Then there is the usual sell side trading liquidity here. Once in can be stuck in for a while!

All that said, that’s my negatives but I think buys now following the raise should do well and the bod have sold their product very well.

Once a few take this up it can pick up momentum and irrespective of the performance it can become a FOMO product. Especially if others are using it to mark your scorecard!

That is a pretty good sales pitch! Which should generate ARR’s.

I would peer it with TIG a similar principle but for IoT sales akin to CLBS and CRTA. If you are looking for peers.

Should do well here but do remember there’s always chance of a curved ball in this space and it can be sudden so do take some off on the way up!

I would buy a few but doing ok elsewhere.

Thank you for your kind words although I tend to trade over longer periods than just a day.

Anyways got a lot on today. Gonna spend all my ‘tick ups’ that I got over at HEX which incidentally I offered you as a freebie at a tad over 10p for all the help you have given me here.

Over 100% up now on a huge (for me) position which means that the profit there alone is higher than my total investment here or at SEPL. My two darling quarterly income plays which are giving me +10% yield even after taxes.

So yes thanks credit where it’s due!

Problem with all three of those stocks is sell side liquidity.

Often even ‘£1k’ of shares is met with NT to sell as the stock is pumped to a false ceiling!

I traded WSBN before. It was a nightmare to sell. Had to offload gradually into any news.

Lots of tiddlers are the same. Look at the trades pages and see how buys and sells are going through and don’t be afraid to call the broker to get a sell price for you.

Of course if it’s a shty RNS it’s pot luck!

Send it to best and you will be screwed but it still usually goes lower!

Been caught before buying a stock, it shoots up 20% but you can’t sell a bean into the rise!

Sorry had to go out!

But the point of my post at 09:13 today before the ‘hands on hips treatment’ was to back up Bo’s statement in the video snip today with some research.

A midpoint spend on Helium for those publicly listed North American companies is around $582m pa. (There are also private companies likes of Carlyle and KKR that may/may not use helium)

The optimum spend, is probably a closer $775m pa.

Then add in a CAGR of 8%.

But it only takes growth rates at the likes of SpaceX or NVDA (which didn’t come up on my search) or more AI development and server centres to come in and that CAGR can be blown out of the water!

The point is when Bo says ‘we know who they are’ he is probably also talking at a level below this ‘industry level’ that are also facing supply constraints and not easily found.

A huge component of the ‘chips act’ is onshoring, incentivised by grants, PPP deals and tax breaks as much of this helium is supplied from Qatar.

So rest assured there will be a market for our helium at a premium for any ‘guarantee’ of supply aka offtake agreements.

Furthermore, with so many customers with deep pockets and us soon having a rare product that they need; as soon as there is an ‘odourless sniff’ of helium there will undoubtedly be a queue at Bo’s door to do a deal if not before!

The market still doesn’t get that we are drilling a proven helium fairway with gas in soil samples. 2.3 bcf v a £50m mcap company is still a huge sp disconnect. That is based on peers.

Getting ahead of oneself for now but a successful flow test will imo lead to a JV for infrastructure with us and probably two customers in return for and offtake agreement.

At £10m for a mobile production unit I can see those costs being picked up in return for sales agreements.

Or Bo may decide to raise £10m at a higher sp and keep the flexibility. But I think the former and then drill another field in our acreage cross funded.

So there are many permutations other than the current £30m mcap which is completely nonsensical and imo won’t last!

This placing was circulating the markets for ages. Some of those ‘potential investors’ would coincidentally have shorted the stock already or opened CFD’s. They make a lot of money from placings and falling SP’s.

No idea what is defined as insider trading when this is how the market works. Look at HE1 recently with accelerated book builds.

At least FARN was a placing. Cash should be by rights issues so it’s fair for all imo. Accelerated bookbuilds are the worse they are telegraphed in advance often exclusively to insti’s and HNW and PI’s have no chance!

Or else there’s the CLN’s which are cheap options just for directors at a price they decide.

It’s no surprise companies need cash. This is one of the reasons why they list but it’s the how it’s done!

Don’t be put off by the rise it’s still not even 50m mcap yet which is still cheap for a shot at 2.3 bcf on an APPRAISAL drill!

Stock overlooked and crazy cheap due to IPO buyers flipping out for a free carry. Looks like that stock is being taken up now.

Yep now getting some proper sells at +20p. That’s what we needed to see as opposed to those £10 liquidity trades trying range the price.

Will take a bit more changing of the guard as the early teens slice and the new buyers hold. But imo it’s pretty much looking like setting a new high from here now.

DEC is pretty volatile and heavily shorted. I hold and will likely add more later. I see it going to £15 in a few months.

For me it’s an income play and I got loads in 880 pence range. Hence I can ride it out and buy dips.

But the future of US gas and Dec with their debt run off is very compelling. Also lots of ii’s buying now.

I think here is a safer bet than DEC though or even MNG/PHNX where it looks like the selling is over and will climb with ECB rate cuts and post election no matter who wins. Both offer exceptional yield.

When I slice at HEX will look to add DUKE and possibly WINK. Both will benefit from rate cuts and are quarterly payers which fit my income needs. ATM I am very heavy in just 6 stocks so need to diverse bit.

I held PLUS at 800p! Was a nightmare trading it then as so little stock. Also held TCAP at 100p! And CMCX and JIM at same time. All sold, escaped JIM by skin of teeth. But agree plus looks v good.

My biggest position by a long way is HEX atm. Crazy! But that’s what I do when i spot an opportunity.

Will sell half then tip profits into income.

Then came loads of director sells. I thought must be profit taking well now we know!

Their GiB mine has shut down due to strike action! So the bod coincidentally knew what was likely!

Still got US & Canadian mines churning out $50m ebitda

Strikes come to an end and gib is a good % of the ops so may go lower,

Could be a great buying opportunity if it goes to 150 which would be massively oversold.

Timed your slice well ST. I sold the few I bought last week. It was only a small amount bought on the momentum.

Keeping the rest though. Was always expecting a bit of profit taking.

Whether is 30% or 40% there’s plenty of growth for sepl esp with the pipeline coming on.

Buyers here with a low average can pretty much switch off when the deal is done and enjoy the income with a big sp cushion!

Also this stock has some pretty good macro protection as well!

This and my DEC are a couple of the safer plays imo.

I noticed China manufacturing data took a bullish turn which should help offset the oversupply atm. But Nigeria never seem to hit their targets anyway so seem to escape cuts!
