Newsflash on radio 5 says the threat of strikes for BA have been called off by Unite. Seems like talks may have been useful ?

Used to work for this company many years ago.I always thought it was a natural for BT to absorb as BT had so little international ability and CWC oozed experience dealing in overseas markets. It was only because China refused to let BT take them over that a previous attempt fell through,because of their imperial presence in Hong Kong (which the chinese resented by the way).

The former spin doctor of Brown is high up in Unite. The PM comes out and condemns the strike,almost certainly a deal will be brokered for political benefit (Unite funds Labour party) in the run up to an election. This stinks to high heaven.

Shown up on the Barclays stockbrokers home page as a strong recommendation for a buy. They havea decent record for share advice so fingers crossed here.....

After seeing the Pru rise I was sure this one would follow upwards in sympathy but ??? Is it a target for Resolution after it digests FP ?
