Blame Thatcher ,yet another laughable attempt to blame the dead for todays problems. Thatch wouldnt have been ignored by any of the EU gatherings for sure. BEM should have been using the swedish media to promote the case for a mine , stressing environmental credentials ,the legal case and political stalling. Seems to be going on for me. Either an overhang from placing in May at first but now thinking this is one person disposing of a large holding for tax/inheritance/just plain boredom or despair. Whatever the reason we were steady up to 6p after the election with trivial amounts traded but from 6.05p we have seen persistent big chunks registered as sold down to beliw 5p (not placing recipients then).

Can see your point Suzy,my mind thinks about 30mn shares issued in May at 5p would be yielding a nice profit for the men in suits. Stalled any rise but hopefully cleared and ready for a proper administratiion in Sweden that can make decisions instead of disappearing up their own backsides..

Cant see why as aktie has behaved recently but it has me wondering if we have an overhang from the last placing at 5p and the buyer back then has taken a guaranteed profit after hanging onto them ? Has to be most important aspect of the election from the point of view of mining. Their tendency towards constant negativity inhibits any consensus style of government from making decisions. A shift to the right may have risks in politics but usually results in an inclination to take positive decision making when it is required. As long as BEM have all the right boxes ticked we should see progress at last. All the best eric by the way.

If this area can provide 90% of the EU iron ore the company should have been challenging government inertia via the EU court which may have carried more weight with Sweden.

I havent checked this board for nearly 24 hours and made 45% on cpx with the benefit of hindsighr,a great investment tool ! Come off it mickey ,that was too transparent.

The spread seems a bit tighter lately ed, approx. 3% from sells at 5.5 and buys at 5.65. does that suggest anything to you ?

Very sorry to hear about your situation but just talking about,albeit to a forum full of varied backgrounds and agendas ,can help. My brother,same name,did exactly that 34 years ago and we have never stopped wondering why he did what he did. Sure,it was a cry for help but it did leave 2 sons puzzled and confused to this day. His wife had gone off with his mate but he had to bear some responsiblity for his own behaviour too late in the day. The hard part has to be recognising our own part in the events leading up to where we are now and getting around to righting that without self pity or demanding fulfilment as a divine right. I do hope you get your head right (just visited my sister in a care home for her first day today with dementia-our mental health is precious), life is there for living and shouldn't be discarded needlessly,go out and help others and be of use to those in need,very best of luck mate.

When we see some negotiating from Brussels we may see some progress. Meanwhile stalling by EU is getting concession after concession from Westminster.
