Cant disagree too much with your sentiment Eric but we are dealing with an extreme socialist bureaucracy that is terrified of making a decision and is full of people who fear a mistake could cost them so prefer no action. Eventually it has to happen and I hope and expect this to happen soon. It just cant go on like this forever as they need the tax revenues to pay for benefits and even their own and international eyes are commenting on the messy approvals system. When it goes I expect a sharp rise followed by another fundraising to pay for the mining. Kurt could have pushed harder via the media for my mind but I still reckon he will come good before Ed's liver gives out !

It has been on the cards and nobody should be too surprised. The alternative would be slow strangulation and capitulation to the swedish bureaucracy. The tone of language from the Remain camp since the referendum has consistently been to doubt the intelligence of anyone not falling for the Project Fear propaganda. As long as we speak with courtesy we should be able to debate the subject.

Now back to BEM , when is Kurt going to voice concern about the unspoken agenda here ? Yet another week passing by with no sign of comment from the Swedish authorities and Easter holidays and long summer breaks will be with us and we all know how that strangles decision making in Sweden. You do Cameron a great disservice knocking him for the referendum. He was pushed into it by the results of the 2014 EU election when UKIP ,a small grass roots party got more votes than either of the main 2 parties on a platform to come out of the EU.First time since 1910 that the 2 main parties failed to win ! He was trying to spike them before the steamroller had become unstoppable. The decision to hold a referendum was democracy in action but our civil service held the people in such contempt they failed to have a plan in place.

Probably the only reason Lofven would cover the subject may be that he knows full well that some action is imminent Eric. A politician would not mention the subject unless he was already aware this matter is on an agenda for discussion shortly ,linking him to some progress. Late and embarrassing,it could be a weak attempt to redeem himself on the issue,positioning himself as a doer. Only conjecture on my part.

The significant point here is that Sweden has fallen down the ranks of international mining credibility for the third year due to inaction from blundering politicians.That point should be trumpeted loud and long in the swedish media.

I am a mere novice when it comes to literary eloquence compared to your good self Eric. It seems to be an attribute of any socialist regime to perform in stagnation ,trying to satisfy everyone with good sentiment but discouraging everyone with lack of action. This example takes the biscuit but could explain why the young move away from voting on sentiment as they grow older.
