I do not have time or inclination to go over the past 2 years but we had a referendum that the PM of the day stated quite clearly was a one off opportunity for decision with a bitterly fought campaign that was debated and analysed to the nth degree. We voted to Leave and have had constant implications that those who voted to leave are ignorant (your words, suzy and I suspect most of the Remain supporters),the high ground lies with Davis and Johnson,not Blair,Soros and May at present. She has let the country down and wasted two years by allowing herself to be held hostage by her mandarins.

The fight will become more bitter and divisive if the 48% overrule the majority. When votes were analysed by constituency as per Parliament seats Leave would have attained 422 seats out of 650 ,a landslide in voting terms. The economic facts according to the Treasury have rarely been proved to be correctly forecasted and the stock market has reached record highs. This fight from Remain is all about deceit and political chicanery. It has demeaned Westminster.

And the final line implying those who voted to Leave might be ignorant demonstrates why this issue is so divisive Suzy. As for the lack of a plan that is entirely the fault of a useless civil service that was so arrogant it didnt bother to plan but concentrated on an ill judged Project Fear campaign endorsed and delivered by Cameron and Osborne. My faith in democracy has diminished considerably. Ignorance could be accused of those falling for the threats of doom and gloom by the other side too. I am more confident that a 2nd referendum would deliver a bigger majority to Leave after UK laughable attempts at negotiating,Davis was let down by deceit from Downing Street.

I rather had a historical judge in mind for the swedish politicians,Judge Jeffreys .

Aug,how ironic that Trump has been responsible for the biggest step forward in decades despite being reviled by the media. If it had been Obama or Clinton we would have endured hours of BBC analysis and adulation whilst Trump may get a mere footnote in passing ! Meanwhile we have to wait a few months while Swedish politicians debate the significance of concretisation !

Aye ,talking to a good friend of mine who was a union man today and regularly got invited to go for a weeks holiday with his wife to Brussels ,all expenses paid by the EU. His sponsor used to work for him and was an MEP. He said how he was given a cheque on arriving that was more money than he had ever known,a flat in Brussels AND Strasbourg ,subsistence money that allowed him to live without touching his salary. When he came back home he was given an allowance for living in his OWN house that paid his mortgage off ! Bribery to buy support at every level paid for by the common man.

Just wishful thinking but it would cheer me up no end if persistent objectors like the greenies could be made liable for lost funding by companies that suffered from their behaviour. I played squash with a bloke who works for a muning company up here that has objectors from as far away as Germany and Sweden doing crazy things while locals just want the jobs their application will bring. Cementing themselves into toilets with pipes and metal inside the cement so their workforce run the risk of blinding when cutting the eejts free ????

Was always on the cards ,only question was if an approval happened before. Clearly not and we have to understand that one of the principal strategies of the professional campaigners was to delay and appeal and delay again in the hope of killing BEM off by draining funds. This placing will refute that and may buy time enough to bring Finland onstream as well.Kurt will pull this off and I will take as much pleasure in that as I will any profits. We have to defeat such malice and spite.

Some decent points aug but one thing puzzling me is the apparent absence of influential PR from Bem. Kurt makes his points in events and presentations but needs to feed a few Swedish journalists about the damage these delays are doing to the reputation of the swedish government. This may be done by judicious leaks to highlight a form of racism towards a foreign investor and turning off foreign investment in their industries by bureaucratic and polutical inertia. He is too decent by half.

In no way did I imply we should encourage child labour nor bad conditions Suzy and I do admire the socialist sentiment but a balance has to be made or a nation cant afford benefits either. Sweden has moved too far along the pendulum and this is just one example.

Your post is all common sense John but we are dealing with a nation steeped in a socialist mindset here and seemingly paralysed with fear at offending anyone. The desire to please is a laudable sentiment but an apparent inability to make a decision in case it offends is a benefit to nobody and stifles businesses,the very people who pay the taxes and create jobs for all the benefits socialism wants to slosh about. Pressure to decide has been growing and I hope the foryhcoming election prompts one or two ministers to decide and look like leaders.

Very well said aug,he has a transparent style that suggests a frequent trading of the share. Cant knock that but when it brings insults and abuse to enhance trading at others cost it speaks far more about the person.

And that is what it is Suze,an argument for the sake of arguing. Leave the personal attacks out of it gambier and just be patient,we are all just biding time.

My take on this is a neutral stance by MM"s for similar reasons. Sometimes they shake it up or down to generate some action. They are resigned to the fact that many LTH's are sitting and waiting the decision and are immune to delays or silly games. March winds and April showers will bring forth flowers in May,the 11th was my guess and it still stands.

Goes on and on and......... Bem investors are ,by necessity, a patient lot. This has to end soon.

Perhaps we need a demo by vegans against the habit of cultivating reindeer herds for eating reindeer meat,can't imagine they are all kept for xmas deliveries ! From every angle there is a different viewpoint for the government committtees to consider.
