Good morning all, I’m new to the Bay Cap party and considering my entry. I’m hearing great things and I’m certainly impressed by the pedigree of Mr Tom. I’m researching as best I can but would anyone care to help by shedding light on where the fundamentals are at and what the near term/mid term future prospects are? What acquisitions are being made and which are looking to have the best prospects? Really looking forward to making this a long term part of my portfolio and hopefully this is a productive and informative board. Tuff

Thank you for taking the time to respond... I'll do a bit of research on this one. .! :)
Cheers, LN
LN hi sorry it has taken so long to reply
My bit of knowledge and the reason I am invested is the involvement of Mr P Tom who grew Aggregate Industries into one of the top five quarrying companies in the UK and subsequently sold out to Holcim and then did the same with Breedon -grew them into the largest independent in the U K before what I thought was to retire -I am also in Bree who are a well run company with a well respected reputation within the aggregate supply industry
Should Mr Tom be anywhere near as successful with Bay as he has been previously I will be more than happy
Hope this helps GLA
This company came up as a recommendation via a friend who works in the financial sector. Nice rise today but there’s nothing much happening it seems.
Can any of you long term holders give a bit of a commentary on this company please?
Very quiet on this board for an sp that has doubled in a week .let’s hope the silence is golden and we repeat and repeat again GLA
Not a bad day at the races! 13% rise. GLA
Did not expect so much this quickly but as Shrews says I’m guessing someone knows something and the guys have a deal in mind
Just waiting to see who - intriguing !
I agree, but a lot of holders must be reluctant to sell given that this is just the start - its just a cash cow looking for suitable investments. I would like to think that the huge rise signals an investment looming - if not, then the s.p could fall as quickly as it has risen. Time will tell! Fortunately, the cows farmers are extremely well qualified, and soon build up herds! GLA
Plenty of stock available. 30M shares issued at the Placing. Just a really good story and potential driving it forward - not a stock shortage.
Ticking up ahead of any news. Little float here so move quickly!
Well as they say looks like all of our ducks are in row as I’ve said I’m confident in the people behind bay their track record speaks for itself
Shrews
I’m relaxed about how many people are here they will join the party or they won’t
All I know is the success the people behind Bay have been there done that a number of times and that’s why I’m here
Might not come quick but it just might who knows but I am confident it will come
Shrews
Yep just checking on today’s activities and seen 80k purchase at 24p wouldn’t normally wish my life away but can’t wait for Monday might even treat myself to a small Chardonnay in anticipation GLA
Another nice little jump something stirring
Most certainly does perhaps an early Xmas pressie but seriously really intriguing starting over again for a third time can’t wait to see the first deal Mr Tom will need a T shirt with a big S on it . Come on Bay onwards and upwards
Should he be half as successful as he was with Breedon and before that Aggregate Industries we will all be more than happy
Hope we all enjoy the journey
May be I hear the ,"Petering of the tom-toms"!
Do we think things are starting to rumble here or is it just general market sentiment?
I might be being a little naive but can someone explain what was happening here today.Spread was large 13/17 sell /buy all day eventually finished 16/17 .I understand we are new to market but is this normal ? Many thanks in anticipation of any guidance
I rather doubt it !! Watch and learn.
Spoke to soon chap.
I am a New poster but have been in breedon for a while more than happy with what Mr Tom achieved and so now have now joined bay very excited and looking forward to the future
Like the look of this. A great combination of experienced Directors, a cash pool and a sector that is in demand - assuming they go for an acquisition in construction materials.
Moving steadily ahead. Fair value ? 25 to 30p ahead of an acquisition. Underpinned by 7p+ in cash.
New world here. No aircraft, no leggy cabin staff ( never were at BA !!) and no late or cancelled flights. In fact nothing to do with anything airborne. Thank God.
This is a well cashed-shell ( £7M) that is to be the base of being a disruptor in the aggregates and/or mining space. Probably domestic - UK., - and low risk. Likely to acquire one or more small to privately-owned medium-sized quarry companies.
Almost certain to succeed if we are patient.
