Hi Troajan; just noticed your post from 2014... Are you still invested here?
The lack of posts on this site is strange, but I have an interest in this share so here goes: -
This could be a huge profit - maker, but I do have has some misgivings about this share... ASML are not trading with China purely because the USA are preventing them from doing so... China was a huge market for them (and contributed to a large amount of their profit) so it looks to me that they are shooting themselves in the foot...
Surely China (and Japan) will now invest heavily in producing their own EUV lithography..??
Just what I expected Pashtastic; - no interest in any views other than your own... Idiot.
I have (what is for me) a large holding in BEN split between my SIPP and an ISA. It is the largest share in my modest PF and I have been riding the wave of excitement with everyone else since I invested. When PATT (on the other platform) posted some misgivings I innocently asked posters on this site what they thought of his post, and I was slated and rubbished for even daring to ask such a question. This board appears to have become a platform where as long as you shout BEN from the rooftops you’re OK guvnor, and if not, then do one… I for one will certainly hear out those with a contrarian view if what they say makes sense. I have been involved in quarrying and associated works for 40+ years; - works involving heavy plant and equipment, and I’ll tell you all what… The stockpiles are nowhere near as large as I thought they would be, and the heavy plant and equipment is not as plentiful as I expected either. There is more plant on your average landfill site than what was shown on the videos. I hope this share comes good… I really do, because I can have a very nice retirement but I’ll definitely be keeping a closer eye on things, and not through rose tinted glasses!
I hope you're correct Jinkar... I just haven't got the time to check everything he says (which he asserts is verifyable) and just wondered if anyone else on here saw that post and was able to shed any light on it.
This has been one of the few shares I have which is doing better than anything I have ever had before, and I don't want to get stuffed :(
PS: - I'm not de-ramping... It's just that I lost a s**t load on Sirius Minerals and I'd rather not repeat that experience...!
"Purchaseatthetop" (a poster on the other channel) with a rather alarming analysis on who owns Ben's Creek, the people behind it and some mysterious goings-on...
Anyone care to comment?
Ha ha… hope so!
Just chucked my last £20k in and bagged another 27,458 shares. That's it now, I ain't got no more. :(
I'm hopeful it's going to be a life changing share for everyone :)
Joking apart, Rowley2376 is correct... Don't gamble your savings on the say-so of anyone on here. It's fair to say there are lots of well-informed investors on here but if you value your dosh you should do your own research and only invest what you can afford to lose.
As most poster say one here: - DYOR...!!!!!
24 Billion actually... :)
So hopefully we will be selling washed coal within the next couple of weeks or so, adding more value and so; profit.
A little surprised Adam didn’t provide an update on the rail spur but hopefully that’s on track too…
All good in my eyes, despite the horrors in Ukraine. Let’s hope the loss of life is minimised…

I have had similar issues with Hargreaves Lansdown... Very frustrating!
Additionally, I was trying to take a near £5k profit slice when BEN surged over 45p and despite every man and his dog piling in, I couldn't get them to execute and ended up having to take it in 2 batches. Very nice for HL as they get 2 lots of commission but it naffs me off that they do this... :(
Another milestone in getting the SP on an upward trajectory
The number of times I've thought about top-slicing and then missed the boat beggers belief. I have mentioned previously that I tend to hold onto my shares for the long term but I see all those missed opportunities. Of course, timing is everything and I have just taken the plunge and top-sliced for £8k.
I am hoping I can get back in cheaper (as would have been the case so many other times). I still have just over 122000 shares but I hope I haven't made a big mistake!
Captain Haggis & Rob1967 - thanks :)
If you look at BEN'S Creek share charts on LSE you'll see lots of really small trades (both buys and sells) for less than £5.00. I cannot imagine anyone paying share purchase costs of nearly £12 just to buy or sell 5 shares...
Am I correct in assuming these are merely balancing trades of some sort?
This share is an impossible tease... I generally hold once I've bought but had I traded it from high to low I could have made an easy £4 - 6K. The problem I have is that I'm scared that if I sell the price will suddenly jump and I won't be able to get back in (or at least at a decent rate)...
Rock and a hard place, this share..! :(
I think this is massively undervalued and the recent downward trend allows us to stock (pardon my pun) up more.
I have just added 25000 shares to my ISA and 33000 to my SIPP, so I'm now the happy owner of 139k shares in total. I'm probably a little more exposed to this as a single share than I am in others but I think the fundamentals are strong.
Additionally, Adam Wilson's past experience should be seen as another driver in my opinion, but please DYOR..!
The 25,000 share purchase just after 1.00pm is mine, and I've lowered my average down to £0.31578 per share. I have my target number of shares now and this is a medium to long term hold for me.
This has all the potential Sirius Minerals (SXX) had in the early days except that BEN is already producing.. I got burnt with Sirius; - can't see that happening with this share. Onwards and upwards!
