I agree, but a lot of holders must be reluctant to sell given that this is just the start - its just a cash cow looking for suitable investments. I would like to think that the huge rise signals an investment looming - if not, then the s.p could fall as quickly as it has risen. Time will tell! Fortunately, the cows farmers are extremely well qualified, and soon build up herds! GLA
We are roughly where we were in August 2021, not August 2020! IMO this will rise due to 1) over reaction Re ebitda, and 2) S4 will announce major new customer wins. The ride is not finished, and even CS’s target is far higher than today’s so, and close to the current yard high.
May be I'm old school, but the adage, "You've got to speculate, to accumulate" seems to be Sir Martin's thrust today. By investing now, there is a reduction in EDITDA, but the future benefits can be massive.
There is no dividend, so the only thing affected is the p/e. I hold this for l.t capital growth, and nothing else.
Hence, my conclusion is, that I am happy that re-investment is being made in the most exciting area of media advertising, namely digital by one of the greatest successes in the industry - Sir M. Well done, I say!

Just watched ceo of WPP, Mark Reid, on bbc world. Absolutely no match to Sir Martin! He spoke like Bill Gates; very well presented if you want to be a politician , or ambassadore, but not as as CEO with duty to the company, and shareholders! Sir martin would eat him as a pre-breakfast snack!!! Gla
I note with interest that 2 directors sold considerable %'s of their holdings yesterday at circa 934p. The fall-back today represents a correction to a price that has run ahead of itself. I bought in some years ago at 230p, so have done very well. I sold everything yesterday, but will look to buy back in when the sp settles again. GLA
Disappointed to see this back to the original issue price, even after a significant recovery since March. The volumes have been low for the past 4 weeks, or so, but with Ronez flat out, and the other subs out of lock-down, the fall in SP is difficult to understand.
Two major shareholder changes in 1 year! WOW! But look behind the progress of this company, and the experience of the BOD. This is a BUY. Look forward to 20 November announcement. M1 was Hope …. 2 families that have now split, and 1 party sold, the other remains as CEO. Have faith GLA.
Thanks Londoner 7 - as always a logical, metered opinion, and the type I appreciate. I too thought the sale of some of PT's holding was well managed, and there was the undertaking to buy more at the same price - to me, his creates a "put" in the market place and a bench-mark price. Woodford came out of the blue, but it is encouraging to see a slight recovery over 60p - so much so, that I topped up at 60p! Thanks again L7, and GLA.
Thanks Londoner7 - as always a great take on things. The only thing I may add, is the Peter Tom retirement effect. Whilst the management team is very strong, and getting stronger with each new appointment, P.T was considered by many to be the "spine" of the business. Until new results are published, achieved under the new "team", the price may still be reflecting an apparent "risk" of no P.T at the helm. GLA.
Excellent webcast and well worth listening to in full. Pat Ward's view that a static market is OK underlines the uncertainty re the UK economy. However Ireland looks a lot stronger. The overall aim of 15% margin on EDIT remains in place with just a timing question re its achievement. Debt reduction faster than anticipated, and remains a priority. Outperforming others in the sector, and confident in the future. This is an excellent report, and sticky buns at the end just icing on a very good cake! GLA and well done BREE!
Very low volumes, so people are not selling up and running for the Brexit shelters! This is a great company, and will show good results in the future. Possibly, a very good thing to have Lagans operating in a buoyant market place, and also earning in euros. GLA
