"Allied Minds was under the cosh again following a double downgrade by Jefferies at the end of last week and amid worries about the departure of chief executive officer Chris Silva."
I have read what has been said, but this does look like over-kill. Views?
Topped up by 1/3 a 89.99p. This drop is over-done visa vi the news today. GLA
Nothing terribly dramatic - 5% deferred income. Fill your boots cos I am!
Great recovery GLA
Silly slide in the SP. Views?
Is this the bottom, and a rally commences? Time will tell but I am not convinced. GLA
Even better buying price now! Would be good to see this bottom out. GLA
Fine, so IMO, an overpaid relative resigned as director and the SP tumbles. Does not sound the right way round to me. Bought more this morning at 115.8p, and am confident of a bounce here. GLA
Big drop today. Ideas anyone?
I assume they mean cutting admin and reporting costs - as part of AI, the reporting would likely to have been onerous, and every "widget" used accounted for in a different cost heading (I used to work for a swiss corp and it was the same!). Now with just 2 sites in Jersey and Guernsey, this will be far simpler. At a guess, monthly P+L, B.S CF statement and forecast vs budget. All good news, and next acquisition awaited now funding is in place. GLA
Ok so there is no euphoria here...not really surprising as only one acquisition made, and only modestly profitable. However, it is a good and stable starting point. IMO, it will be the next 1 or 2 acquisitions that really move this share price. In the meantime, hold on and await the news - this board are a young, clever,, experienced bunch who do not sit on their hands. GLA
Agree entirely re VANL and LUCE also. This will be a positive story with just Ronez, and even more so when further acquisitions are made. Patience calls for more than a few days from IPO!
This board know what they are doing and have a great track record. I firmly believe that this is just a start and that further acquisitions will follow very quickly. GLA
Good morning to all existing shareholders, from a new shareholder! I am based in the C.I so know Ronez very well. They are well run, given the heavy corporate governance previously imposed, coupled with a virtual zero cap ex budget that forced them to out-source many basic operations including delivery of material. Imho, profits can only increase due to lower HQ charges, a captive market and a more progressive marketing and management style. Sigmaroc's board have an impressive, and validated track-record, hence, this must be an exciting time with many more acquisitions to come in the future. As a BREE holder it will be interesting to compare and contrast performance in 3 years time! The loan stock at 6% is attractive, but affordable from the company's perspective and does not create to much gearing for the shareholders. Exciting times! GLA
No news, no volume, big drop. Any ideas why? Happy New Year all - could do with a Barbadian holiday!
Even better now!
